Hanife' is an experienced and compassionate Clinical Psychologist. She specialises in working with children, adolescents and adults. She has completed a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology on Borderline Personality Disorder. Hanife works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, perinatal depression, chronic worry, panic attacks, phobias, grief, sleep problems, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
Hanife also sees individuals suffering from eating disorders bulimia and binge eating disorder. Hanife makes a concerted effort to help her clients understand and make sense of their experiences. Hanife utilizes evidence based therapies: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Clinical Psychologists have obtained the accredited qualifications set down by the Psychology Board of Australia of recognition as a Clinical Psychologist. Moonee Ponds Clinical Psychology clinicians are members of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and have accredited Doctoral-level training in Clinical Psychology.
To access the Medicare rebate, a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is required. This can be obtained by a referral from your Paediatrician, General Practitioner or Psychiatrist. Under the Medicare Rebate system, individuals are entitled to 10 discounted sessions per year. Provided you have EXTRAS cover, you can make a claim against your private health insurance.
