Since opening in 2010, Volar Dance Centre has developed a strong reputation for being an inclusive and family friendly atmosphere within the dance community of the Western suburbs. We offer a variety of classes that foster a love of dance and a strong work ethic through technical expertise. Our classes are fun, energetic and aimed to inspire all students to be the best they can be.
Mini ballet introduces students to the fundamentals of ballet whilst building confidence and social skills. The class allows our littlest of dancers to express their love for movement and music in a fun and creative environment. Ballet is the basis for dance. It provides the technical scaffolding required to produce strong and healthy dancers and is recommended for all dancers.
We offer a free trial to all our classes. Not sure what class you think you'll enjoy the most, try each one for a week before you commit. Email the studio to book your trial! We teach Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) for Classical ballet. We offer ballet exams from Grade 1 - Advance 2.
Not all students choose to undertake examinations, but those who do we require examination students to enroll in all classes available to their class and level on the timetable (ie a minimum of 2 classical ballet classes per week for Primary to Advance 2 students) Students choosing not to undertake examinations will not be at any disadvantage as our classes are all designed around the syllabi regardless.

My daughter has been part of this fabulous school since the day it opened. She is now in her 9 th year with the school. She has done all the genres they offer and has participated in exams and comps as well.
We couldn’t be happier with this great place.
All her teachers are careing but also firm to get the most out of our amazing dancers.Ash Barrat who created the school all those years ago is an amazing choreographer and fabulous guide for our girls/boys.
I would recommend Volar dance center to anyone who is wanting to find a great place for their upcoming dancer or established dancer.

Amazing dance school, everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and supportive.... couldn't ask for anything more. My daughters love for dance continues to grow on a daily basis. The knowledge and experience of the teachers is of the highest level allowing my daughter to grow and develop skills all whilst in a safe friendly environment

My daughter has been dancing there for about 7 years now and has now been accepted into a full time dance course thanks to volar dance centre and there fantastic dance training and support.
I couldn't of ask for a better school.
I now have all 4 of my girls dancing here and they all love it everyone is so friendly and helpful. All the kids are so supported of one other which I love.
The teachers are all amazing

Brilliant dance school! My two girls have danced here for the past 9 years and have only ever experienced the highest quality of teaching. A wonderful nurturing environment, my girls have excelled here, I would happily recommend new and experienced dancers to come and see what this special school is all about.

Amazing dance studio covering all different dance styles and including RAD exam syllabus. Volar Dance Center caters for all levels of students from beginners to advise, The staff are friendly and welcoming and with awesome teachers trained to the highest levels. Could not think of a family friendly place for my daughter to dance . Highly recommend VDC.
