Services
Limestone Medical Centre was started in 1920 by Dr Gilmore Wilson and has been providing quality healthcare in Ipswich ever since. We're located close to the CBD, with our entrance and undercover parking on Thorn Street between the Brisbane and Limestone Street intersections. We're one of the area's longest standing medical practices and a part of the community.
Below are some of the services that we provide. If the service you require is not listed, below please contact us to discuss your available options. Limestone Medical Centre is a quality private billing practice with Bulk Billing available for those under 5 years of age and anyone who is on a Health Care Card or Pension card from Centrelink.
Our dedicated doctors are supported by staff committed to the highest level of patient service. Dr Chambers is one of the partners of the practice and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice. He is interested in all facets of General Practice, particularly chronic disease management and the management of skin conditions within primary care.
Your doctor or pathology collector will advise you when they expect the results of tests or procedures to arrive. You may call for information on whether the results are normal or whether you require a follow up visit. Please note that actual measure will not be released over the phone and will require another appointment with your GP.

Large reception area with friendly staff. The doctor i saw introduced herself immediately and put me at ease being my first time at this clinic. She was extremely thorough and at no time did I feel like there was going to be a get me in and out in 5 minutes like previous medical centres I have encountered.

This clinic is simply fabulous; Dr Auld & Dr Liu are fantastic from my personal experience. I have not had a great GP since I was a young child and at this clinic I have been pleasantly surprised & very impressed with the professionalism, kindness and genuine authenticity of all the employees I have encountered, it’s quite lovely to have found this clinic.

Lovely reception staff, didn't wait long to see my doctor, wasn't a charge as I have a health care card, the doctor I saw was wonderful; very lovely with my toddler and so knowledgeable. I've seen so many doctors about my medical conditions and she seemed to invite more than all of them together in 15 minutes. Def recommend

Very convenient, there is a Pathology Clinic and a Chemist, very handy even if you use a public transport. Many doctors to attend to patients. Happy that this clinic accepts bulk billing. I am happy and satisfied with Dr Tony who attended to me last Monday. Reception is very efficient and organised.

A friend had recommended that I see Dr Rama Spencer at this practice quite a while ago as it's not always possible for me to get in to see my GP of over 13 years.
The reception staff here are extremely friendly and helpful, which is so necessary in a medical practice.
I found Dr Rama to be extremely helpful and practical with a lot of helpful contacts.. I will be coming back. 🙂
