Smokin' Al's BBQ is an Halal Burger and American BBQ Restaurant based in Sydney that specialises in traditional Texas-style BBQ, house-ground chargrilled burgers and a variety of hotdogs made with homemade frankfurters. 150g fried chicken breast, Mi Goreng noodles, American cheese, Kecap Manis mayo, hot sauce & an egg on a milk bun.

300g brisket, 1/4 chicken, 1 sausage, pulled beef shoulder with your choice of 2 sides, pickles, Smokin' Al's BBQ sauce and a milk bun. We create the perfect menu to suit all occasions weather it be a private function, corporate event or birthday party. We can guarantee that our food will definitely impress your guests.

This place offers you the best alternative of Halal burguers in all Sydney.
The really have slow cook braised meats and they look after every single detail to provide you with the best quality food. Don't be fool by the size of the place, it's not too big, but they're food is really amazing 👌

Al does a great smoked brisket that is super juicy and falls apart in your mouth. The house made sausage has a good snap to the texture and slightly smoky flavour. Will return to try other menu items.

By far the most amazing American Food spot in all of Sydney, hands down. I have done my share of searching for American style grub around Sydney and none come close to Smokin Al's.
Definitely a must try, the brisket just falls apart, the hot dogs snap and the hoagies are excellent 👌

Ive been coming to smoking Al's for a while now.. I've never reviewed it though!
Everytime I go there, never ever disappointed! The food served here is heavenly, the BBQ is real high quality and super tasty, you can literally taste the effort that goes into the food they make here
I went down tonight and bought x5 of the smoked corn on the cob..
ITS TASTE AMAZING!! I CHOMPED IT!
5 stars all day everyday.. you can't find BBQ like this anywhere in the area.

Saturday night and the wind is in our sails. I'm trying to get my mate out the house before he eats any more supplements for what looks like s very entertaining lady's night. "Brother, take me to your local!" My ignorance will have to be excused and forgiven. Fore while I've never explored Rockdale before, I'm very, very glad that through a series of cravings and IG algorithms, I happened upon Smokin' Al's BBQ, minutes from my herbaceous mate's place.
The small yet inviting space is reminiscent of any neighbourhood Chook shop you'd find out in the Sydney burbs. The smell is undeniably smokey but

Barely any place to sit, doesnt take reservations, brisket & fries were cold. coleslaw is horrible. literally nothing nice about this place. never again

Big AL is so friendly and helpful with choices of food , he knows great food and we always order food when we work really late at its more than just a food orgasum 😝 it leaves you feeling full… and satisfied and wanting more , i would live of this food if i could , it really is amazing!!! you have to try it you wont regret it !!!
