To prepare for her career in dentistry, Dr Leona earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Otago, New Zealand. To stay abreast of the latest in dentistry, she regularly takes continuing education courses. These include ones focusing on aesthetic dentistry and orthodontics. Dr Leona is passionate about creating beautiful and healthy smiles for her patients.

Our dentists are great with children and will help them feel at ease throughout their entire visit. We explain everything that is happening to your child and ensure they understand what is happening and how it's going to help them. For the more nervous children, we recommend letting them accompany and older sibling or their parents to their next appointment so they can see what is happening and how it isn't all that scary at all!
During a routine dental checkup, the My Dental Moments team will inspect each and every individual tooth thoroughly to ensure there are no causes for concern and that everything is healthy and clean. This includes looking for:. Areas we focus on are between your teeth and on the inside face of your teeth as these areas are often missed as they can be quite hard to inspect yourself.
Your new crown or bridge is then fabricated. This takes 1-2 weeks. Once they have been fabricated, we have you come back in to see our friendly team and we will have them fitted for you! The experienced team of dentists at My Dental Moments provides a myriad of solutions to make sure that you can improve your oral health and maintain your smile.

We had an amazing experience at My Dental Moments. The staff were really friendly and caring. Dr Karen was great with my 4 year old son whom I took to have a lip and gum injury looked at and to get a clean. She polished off all the stains and my son had so much fun he wants to go back for his next check up!

I went and visited Dr Karen Lee today with my mother and I can honestly say it couldn’t have gone any better. It was my mother’s first visit to the dentist and I was really nervous not knowing how she would react. We got there and Mandy at the front was the most friendliest, Kindest and welcoming person. She made my mother feel so comfortable by sitting next to her and having a chat to her. Before Dr Lee started, she sat next to my mother and explained everything she was going to preform and made her feel reassured and safe. My mother loved her experience and she actually can’t wait for her
