Paddlewheel Motel features 31 comfortable self rated 3 and a half, well-appointed rooms with off street parking. Each room offers reverse cycle or split system air conditioning, queen size beds, remote controlled flat screen TV with eight satellite channels, tea/coffee facilities, kettle, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, direct dial telephone, iron & ironing board, electric blankets and hair dryer.
Established in the early 1840s, by the late 1800s Echuca had grown to become the largest inland port in Australia. A mighty red-gum wharf stretched 1.2km along the river, and a fleet of up to 240 paddle-steamers continually delivered agricultural produce for transfer to freight trains bound for Melbourne.
Paddlewheel Motel offers a range of quality accommodation to meet the varying needs and budgets of the travelling public. All of our rooms feature queen size beds, reverse cycle heating and air-conditioning, remote controlled television, electric blankets, tea & coffee making facilities, toaster, iron and ironing board and hair dryer.

Everything is so clean the outside areas and the housekeepers are always cleaning every morning beds done tight always giving us new towels no street noise during the night the breakfast menu is a bit expensive but friendly staff and front office open long house from 7:30am till 9:00pm everything around the hotel locally is so close like the shops and restaurants

Nice hotel , good size room and the beds were comfortable , the pillows were ok and there was a spare in the cupboard as well . The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily , there was a table and chair out the front and the swimming pool was nice and clean well looked after and the BBQ area was also a good size with decent table and chairs . It's was a short trip across the street to Coles and around a klm or so to the old village and the wharf area . Well located .

This is a fantastic place to stay when in Echuca, supermarket across the road, clean room, great owners who welcome you & will do their best to make sure your stay is hassle free & pleasurable. I booked for 2 nights & my motorbike wouldn't start as i went to leave so they made it possible to stay another night at short notice. Thank you Wendy : )

Great location, walking distance to main street and lots of restaurants / hotels. Coles just across the road also! Kids loved the pool and the rooms were clean! We were given every thing we asked for including a fan that we cant sleep without ! I left my iPad behind and Wendy wrapped it and posted it to me . Enjoyed our stay!

The best place to stay in Echuca, hands down.
I had some issues with my credit card at first, but they were really relaxed about it.
The rooms were great, the pool was well maintained, and the breakfasts were tasty.
I felt welcome, as did my partner and MIL, who have also stayed here on another occasion.
Most importantly for us, the beds were super comfortable - firm but not too firm.
