The Lakes Early Learning Centre has been in operation from 2009 and is one of the original childcare centres in the area of Springfield Lakes. Since we have opened we have been providing a high quality care program for our children, along with creating great bonds with our parents and local communities. We pride ourselves in being a High Quality Child Care Centre in the heart of Springfield Lakes. We strive to provide our children with the tools to create the best start in life.
We achieve this in many ways from providing a strong curriculum that follows the NQF (National Quality Framework) and EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework), along with providing and implementing a fun and motivating school readiness program, with our two wonderful and qualified school teachers.

Services
The Lakes early Learning Centre is a Family Owned & Operated centre, that prides itself on providing our community with High Quality Care. We provide care for parents and guardians of children aged between 6 weeks and 12 years. We ensure that we provide a safe, fun and friendly learning experience for our children, so that our parents can focus on their needs day to day.
They belong because we ensure every child is included, valued and welcomed every day. We ensure all children are involved and confident learners and are treated with respect. They are respected because they are listened to and their opinions are valued and appreciated. They are artists because we promote creativity and provide opportunity for them express themselves as individuals.
Here at The Lakes we understand the importance of encouraging kids to eat a nutritious, balanced diet early on. Our aim is to help guide your child towards sound and healthy food habits which will help your children maintain a healthy weight and good health well into their future. It is important to ensure that your child gets the right vitamins and minerals in their diet so that they can grow and develop optimally and full of energy.
Here at The Lakes we believe that fitness, teamwork and skills development is crucial to children's learning, and what better way to learn these skills other than a fun activity such as Soccer. It is for this reason that at The Lakes we are proud to say that we have carefully developed and designed a soccer program that enables children to gain fitness, and hand eye coordination skills regardless their athletic abilities.
Here at The Lakes we understand how important it is to be a sustainably friendly centre and it is for this reason that we incorporate this as a major part of our curriculum. This is why we place a high value and importance on giving children rich, diverse, and warm experiences that promote environmental sustainability.

At the end of last year 2020 my son was assaulted by a staff member 4 times. It wasn't reported to the Department of Education until I rang myself after I asked for further assistance from many friends. My son was not priority during the time the centre was apparently 'investigating' the issue the staff member remained working and my boy was moved to another class until I was able to get another vacant position within the area to keep attending work.
My boy who was 4 yrs old at the time now just 5 is a very calm, caring, kind little boy who never does naughty things, so I was very confused at

So happy with The Lakes Early Learning Centre! The girls are all very lovely and so dedicated to the children. The director who is always happy goes above and beyond in every way making it a welcoming, stress free environment .
