The House of Dance offers classes in all genres of dance, starting at 18 months of age. HOD holds three main departments: House of Dance, Baby Ballet Tasmania and Baby House.

The heart of House of Dance is the award-winning teaching and management staff, working passionately and endlessly to create the best possible dance experience for HOD's students and families. Since opening the studio in 1999, Michelle manages all operations across all of HOD's classes and brands. One of Tasmania's most esteemed and respected ballet teachers, Shayne holds her RAD qualification and Bachelor of Dance (Hons).

Quality dance program with talented professional staff! My daughter attends summer intensives and workshops throughout the year. She is consistently challenged and has always felt welcomed as a part of the community. HOD provides a beautiful balance of rigor and fun. A great place for talented aspiring young dancers!

I would give House of Dance even more stars if I could! The director, Hilary, is great with communication and the students and parents both love her. Her hip hop classes are the best you’ll find around! The ballet classes at House of Dance are also wonderful. Technique is taught properly and students are given the foundation for success in all genres of dance.
