I was worried about getting balayage, I've seen pictures of how it can look pretty bad. My hair looks fantastic!! I was feeling so cute, I had to go out to show it off 😆 They did an amazing job and the… hairdresser guided me away from the colours I was looking at and suggested a colour that ended up being exactly what I wanted. Will definitely be going back!

Lauren is amazing, I’ve been getting my hair done by her for over 10 years. After moving to the Gold Coast 3 years ago and having failure after failure finding a good hairdresser, I now just fly back down to see Lauren, never disappointed and always exceeds my expectations, can’t recommend her enough!

I recently went to the Society for hair and I will not return. I was overall pleased with the look of my hair but I was overcharged without being told what I was paying for. I went in asking for a balayage which should have been around $150 (from the website) and was charged $290! I am a uni student living alone so I do not have this much money to waste on hair. Over the 3 hour period I got foils, toner ( which I was never told that it cost extra), blow dry and curls that fell out a couple of hours later ( which again was not told was extra with “I’ll just put some curls in”). I went here to get my hair regrowth colour matched and a haircut. When I called to book I told them I had curly hair and wanted colour match for my roots. They assured me that this could easily be done. How wrong they were! My hair looked grey when I specifically asked over the phone and on the day for not ash blonde, and I sat and started to cry as the hairdresser was pulling my curly hair to dry it. I saw Rosie today for the first time to correct a major colour stuff up that had also destroyed my hair. She did the most amazing job. Not only has she corrected the colour so beautifully that I look the best I’ve looked in ages, but she’s also managed to help the condition without having to cut off the expected 2 inches. I was so thrilled I literally burst into tears. An absolute life, and hair, saver that is worth travelling from Sydney for. Thank you again, Rosie!! ❤️

I went to The Society For Hair today and saw Rosie to correct my colour (someone else coloured by hair brunette instead of blonde 🙀).. the experience was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. Upbeat salon with incredibly talented staff! Try this rising star Jade or go for senior stylist Rosie, Lauren or Shay. You are guaranteed satisfaction. I walked in HS with crazy roots and the worst case of brassy. Rosie fixed me up in no time. Toning is an art and these girls take time doing it properly until u have the perfect blond.

Lauren and the team at society for hair are extremely talented and efficient, if you are after colour correction or pretty much anything hair this is the place to go!
Location is absolutely stunning, staff are lovley and equipment is state of the art.
Salon uses top of the line MR SMITH products.
