The worst customer service at Routley's Menswear Hobart. It's pretty clear from all the negative reviews of Routley's Hobart that they have no clear idea on how to treat the customer. From the moment you walk in you can feel the staff looking at you with judgement, it is a terrible atmosphere to shop in. But, as the staff say.. This is the way it's been for their miserable 97 year trading history.

Went in here to get an outfit for a friend for a wedding. Staff was very helpful and provided a lot of practical and fashion advice. Chose options that met all the relevant specifications and provided suggestions about other ways each piece could be worn to maximize use. He looks great, everything fits well and the process was fairly painless.

From time to time I get drawn into this store due to my appreciation for fashion. Undoubtedly this store has one of the best ranges and brands in men’s fashion I have seen.
Every time I head in there with the hope that the customer service may have changed from my last experience, I quickly discover that I’m wasting my valuable time again. If I was to describe the experience in one word I would call it “unwelcoming”. Most staff are clearly not turning up to work understanding that it is the customer they serve and sell a product who actually pays their wage. They don’t seem to have any

Arrogant and rude staff. Was testing on the suits, and when i was just about to buy it and was getting the measurements to finalise it, the staff rudely exclaimed "Come here!" And after a long pause he realised his condescending-ness and then said "please". Which was a shame considering the selections at the shop were good, i had more than a grand to spend that day but his service turned me off and i decided to take my business else where.
