When the warm rays of the morning sun rise over Australia, the first place they light up is Mount Warning in northern New South Wales.
Known by the local Aboriginal people as Wollumbin, which means cloud catcher, Mount Warning and its caldera were formed more than 20 million years ago after a massive eruption caused the walls of this now extinct volcano to collapse, The towering, cone-shaped peak of the mountain dominates Australia's Green Cauldron, which stretches from Byron Bay to Queensland's Gold Coast, and west towards the Great Dividing Range.

This place is near perfect. The location, the service and facilities are just exceptional. Could have been 5 stars but unfortunately the family of roaches that throw a party every night in the kitchen area and the discoloured toilet seats that badly need a bleach clean or replacement were disappointing. We stayed at the sub penthouse only so this review may not reflect the general condition of the other apartments.

These guys have been showing people a good time for years! Great apartments that offer great value in a fantastic location right by the beach.
Kirra Surf is out of the hustle and bustle of the main drags and great for family get togethers with enough to keep the kids busy but enough natural beauty to allow us oldies to disconnect for a bit and relax!
Do yourself a favour and take a special weekday rates they do a great job!

2 weeks Before arrival I was told a 200 dollar bond was to be payed on arrival which is fine. Then a day before they emailed me saying that we would not be aloud to stay if we didn’t pay a bond Of $250 before arrival and send in A photo of ID, so I sent emails back saying to wasn’t possible Then there was no reply. So we had to travel there with now reassurance of being able to stay there. Now after our stay they have charge us extra for unnecessary cleaning fee after the apartment was cleaned before leaving. A very unreliable company and very hard to get in contact With for that I do not recommend

Pros-
Very welcoming greeting at reception on arrival. My granddaughter was even given a little welcome pack which she loved. Fantastic ocean view. Great layout of apartment. Great pool.
Cons- Unfortunately my earring fell off in between the lounges and when i reached down to grab it i pulled out a handful of crumbs and dust. There was a paper lodged down the back of the lounge which was 4 months old so i am guessing the jatz biscuits were too. To their credit reception got the cleaners up within 15 mins to clean it up but for the money i paid that should have been cleaned after every visit.

The room was absolutely stunning. We had three bedrooms, AC, a wrap around balcony with our own private pool. Very comfortable with everything we needed. The outdoor pool area was beautiful with clean water, great views and seating for a BBQ lunch. We spent a whole day swimming and relaxing by the pool. Location was quiet with plenty of friendly locals. Cafe is just outside the building for a morning coffee and breakfast. Beach across the road. Surfers Paradise is a 30 minute drive away. We walked down the road for dinner and drinks. With a handful of options to choose from. Highly recommended

As a guest who is also in the same industry I couldn't fault Kirra Surf Apartments on anything. The staff from get go were very friendly and welcoming, a great start to a mini break; down to when we stepped out of the lift onto our floor/level the smell of total cleanliness assaulted us, much to our great pleasure. No stale cigarette smoke, old cooking smells or other peoples smelly shoes. It is just wonderful to have that smell of pure clean sea air.

Kirra Surf Apartments is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time away from home. Location is wonderful with the beach right at your door and views from your balcony to die for.
The staff are wonderful and from the minute I walked in the door I felt like I had known them forever.
The rooms are spacious and clean as well as all the facilities on offer.
Security is wonderful with only residents and their guests able to access areas other than the foyer at all times.
I would have no hesitation in booking into Kirra Surf Apartments again in the future. To be honest had inquired about our possible
