GIGI Instyle's owner, Rajna Jollie, has more than 30 years experience as a professional hair and makeup artist. She has been working in the Hawthorn area since 1985 and has seen the precinct grow into a high-end cultured community. Throughout her career, Rajna has delivered professional expert advice and service on trending styles for cutting, colouring, extensions, bridal/special occasion fashions and make-up.

Absolutely delighted with newly 'zhuzhed' hair from Lauren. I was long overdue for some extra blonde but wanted to remain natural. She suggested balayage rather than my usual foils and I'm stoked with the natural results. Besides for doing a stellar job, she was friendly, sweet and professional. In fact everyone in the salon I encountered was delightful and professional. Rose at the front desk injects an extra dose of positive, fun energy as she buzzes about, keeping everything ticking along like a well oiled machine. Would absolutely recommend.

It has been 3 years since my last proper haircut 🙈and although I loved the length this time gave me, I had terrible split ends and my hair looked so dull and lifeless. I wear my hair up a lot for work so when I’d wear it down it just felt flat. So after a trusted recommendation I booked a hair appointment with Raj.
From the second I walked into GIGi’s I was happily greeted and offered a seat and a tea or coffee.

I just had a wonderful haircut by Georgia, who is truly lovely. I had a lot of trepidation going in because I was getting heaps cut off and was nervous about how it would look, but she did an amazing job with it and made me feel totally comfortable and confident about the big change I was making. I had high hopes after reading such great reviews and they were met and even exceeded. Thank you so much Georgia for not making me look like a lampshade haha. I love my new haircut and would highly recommend this salon.

I had my hair cut at gigi today, and now I have a terrible hairstyle, with asymmetrical layers on both sides, and it is very short! Also cost me $80for this terrible haircut, will not recommend to anyone n will never come back.
I asked her to trim the dead ends, keep most of the length. I told her that sometimes I wear hair extensions, but my hair is too thick and it won’t blend when I have my extensions on, so I want to make my hair thinner and add some layers.
I explained the hairstyle I wanted and my hair issues to the hairdresser, she told me it was ok and repeated what I said it sounds

After the layered haircut my hair feels much lighter, swingy and has a textured look that earned me lots of compliments. Even guy friends have told me how silky and chic my hair looks after the haircut.
