Decent cut but disappointing customer service.
I have been to Aveda salons in the US and Australia. From welcome drink to neck and shoulder massage with Aveda essential oils, their salon experience is simply the best.
Now coming to this salon, the person at the reception was unfriendly. A smile and good greeting can go a long way and it costs absolutely nothing.
I had a dry hair cut by John. Not a fan of dry hair cut but he did a decent job. He started off with my blow wave and transferred it to a different staff (the same person from the reception) to finish off my blow wave. Again, She didn’t

I absolutely adore this salon...Addie, Gary and the team are so professional and make me feel like family. Every time I go...I think to myself that they couldn't top my last colour and cut but they do! It truly is the best part of my month coming here. The colours are superb and the staff are inspiring. We had a balayage appointment with the beautiful Addie and we were extremely pleased with the cut and the colour as well!! Addie listened to everything we told her and she understood perfectly what we wanted. We walked away with a big smile on our faces! The staff in the salon were lovely and so welcoming too. And the coffee while we waited was great!! Will happily recommend!

Recently had my hair cut and balayage done with Gary and Addie, and could not be happier. With previous bad experiences at other salons getting balayages I was apprehensive, but I walked out absolutely in love with what they had done. I’ve been going to this salon for years and have always found Gary and now his daughter Addie very friendly and professional. The staff are always polite and helpful even when they are busy. I think it’s great going to a salon where people care about you and want you to enjoy the experience.

Image at Katan is the only hairdressing salon I will trust with my hair! The salon has such a lovely feel to it and the appointments are always on time. Addie is phenomenal and is an expert at what she does. I have never left feeling disappointed and she always listens to what I would like and delivers even better results than I expected every single time! Highly recommend!!

Had my hair cut at the salon and absolutely loved it. Staff were all lovely, products were amazing and hair cut looked great! Have previously went to salons and been unhappy and paid significantly more, so am always hesitant to get my hair done, however my experience at this salon has taken the fear away and I couldn't be happier!

I have been going to this salon for years. Always happy with my colour & cut. I have literally had one of the worst haircuts ever. It was cut & set into waves & styled to look good.
I washed my hair to see short and long layers. Just uneven & looks like I cut my own hair rather than having visited a salon Armadale......hugely disappointed after so many happy visits to this salon.

I have been going here for several years now, and they always offer a delightful experience and amazing results. The shop is super cute with a cafe in the front and a fireplace. The haircut itself is always… very professional and relaxing, they always offer to start with a complimentary massage. Value for money, and overall experience, you can’t go wrong. PS, ask for Addie, she’s fantastic; cute personality and a great haircut and style!

I noticed people standing and crowding around what looked to be a little cafe as if a famous person had just walked in. Curiously, I followed the crowd to realise that it was a strange cafe/hairdresser/beauty lounge.

This is a great idea to attract attention and they sure succeed in doing that. Apparently, this place has a huge reputation for being amazing at all the different areas they cover. People were waiting having coffee's before getting a spray tan or haircut where the atmosphere is relaxing and if it was available for men I would totally love it!
