Karen holds a space very well. She is highly responsive to feedback, follows my pace impeccably, and is professional at all times. My only regret is not booking in for more sessions! The massage is an individual expression of your needs, and may include: lomi lomi, therapeutic for stressed or injured areas, clearing adhesions, dynamic and/or slow stretches for joints and muscles, soft or deep tissue work, hot stones, kahi loa energy healing - a hawaiian form of reiki incorporating the elements of wind, fire, earth, water and nature as well as vibrational healing and much more.
1hr 30 mins - for a personalised yoga plan or come and have a private class that is specially designed for you, your partner or friend. Recommended: for detoxing or an overall recharge of the lymphatic and circulation systems, and health and glow! Payment - Currently, I do not have eftpos facilities, please bring along cash or speak to me about a bank transfer.
The therapy clinic is based in the tranquil environment of The Eco Village in the Currumbin Valley. Only 7 klm's from Currumbin Beach and a wonderful place to come and visit. Kangaroos roam in their natural state; there are large expanses of green areas and the Currumbin Creek winds it's way down through the middle of the village.
Ka Huna means 'keeper of the secret' and a Ka Huna specialises in the fields of medicine, herbs or healing. The KaHunas of long ago were priests who practiced their healing with much reverence, love and spirituality. Hawaiians believe everything has manna (spirit). The trees, flowers, wind, sun, rain, ocean and mountains all have a spirit form which must be respected.

Wow, the royal kahuna massage is next level! Karen and Ilana work beautifully together, creating a gentle, peaceful atmosphere for release and healing. They work in harmony and left me feeling completely blissed out when I left. By the end of the day, I could feel my body recharging and bringing in light to the spaces they had helped create. I had lots of tensions and really needed a very good quality and professional massage.
KaHuna massage at Currumbin is located in the Eco Village in a beautiful cabin overlooking the forest and surrounded by cute wallabies. It was my first time experiencing a KaHuna massage style and it was amazing. Hands down it is the best I ever had and i am very selective when it comes to quality massage.
The room feels peaceful, the music transport you and Ilana has an amazing vibe and hands technique that will fix anything. Very cleansing experience. Spoil yourself...you deserve the best ! Thanks again Ilana
