We don't make Paella just by using the right ingredients, but also our love and passion for food as well as only the freshest produce. All of this is what goes into our huge paella pans, making them even more impressive. The seafood and chicken paella was outstanding! Eduardo was the most friendly, capable and informative head chef, who made sure to supply all we needed, including personalised finishing touches and even Spanish music.
He was good entertainment! A huge thank you for your contribution to a successful corporate event. The food was amazing (the creamiest Paella ever), and served with good cheer. The vegan option complemented our other food, and provided a great choice for not only only those who preferred vegetarian and lots of others there too!

The original Spanish Black Rice recipe is made with tender calamari, wonderful mini scallops, large peeled prawns, squid ink sauce, and finished with roasted capsicum. Try it like Spaniards do, with a touch of Aioli! One of a kind that you will not forget!

Bar service was great! It is the only reason I am giving them two stars instead of one. Bartender was attentive and made a great mocktail. However, service went downhill after that. We had no idea who our server was, because they never presented themselves. We were never asked if we wanted our water refilled or any other drinks. We were never asked how the food was or if we wanted anything else. We ordered the wagyu steak which was $70 for 3 oz and it was salty. For an almost a $300 dinner you would think they would be more attentive. Food was okay but not for the price or service.

Bar was fantastic while we waited for our table to be ready, super friendly, attentive, courteous and excellent drinks. However as soon as we were seated service disappeared. Our food arrived and no one stopped by to give refills, offer drinks, check on quality of food, or even offer dessert.
Wagyu was cooked properly but the sear was way to salty.
Not sure what happened out here given all the great reviews, but can't say I'd recommend anyone out here after our experience here.

My fiance and I came here to celebrate our new jobs and we were blown away. The food was unbelievable, I think this is the best steak I've ever had in my life. Getting to pick your own steak from the case is a real treat.
We also got a couple of tapas which were delicious. She got the Paella, which was a huge portion and absolutely loaded with all kinds of meats. The rice was cooked to perfection.
Service was great, ambiance is lovely, I think my only complaint was our table was pretty small and wobbly, not ideal given the price of the meal, but a minor gripe at most.

Sat in the patio for dinner. It was cold in October, in spite of the heat lamps they turned on for us. Bring a jacket! We tried various tapas and their seafood paella. Everything was tasty. I'm not familiar with Spanish cuisine so I'm no expert but we were happy with the food. 3 tapas and the paella was too much for 2 people. Service was very attentive. Birthday girl got a complimentary small almond cake and a scoop of strawberry ice cream.

First time here & similar style entrance like the other steakhouses in Costa Mesa. I chose to park in the structure across the street since Vaca validates otherwise its valet. The bar & wine racks are impressive as you enter. Dining area is very simple, but fits well with the theme. Due to COVID-19 the indoor area is spread out & fewer tables, but it creates a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely call in your reservation if you want to sit inside. The staff very helpful from the minute we walked in until we left. The recommendations from our waiter were spot on & he recommended to order the paella

Cocktails were great and tapas were great.
Prime dry aged ribeye steak wasn’t that great and certainly not worth the price ($150 for 2.5 lbs where the bone was half the weight and the bone was so charred that you couldn’t eat the meat).
Servers were solid and ambiance was good. Would come back for tapas and drinks.

Had an absolutely wonderful time as Vaca. The food was great and flavorful. The vegetable paella is totally worth it!
Also, I’m a vegetarian and I have to say I left feeling like the menu genuinely had something for those who don’t eat meat instead of having items that seem like an after thought.
Will be coming back here again and again.
