My name is Matthew Fracaro but my patients know me as Dr Matt. I am a Board Registered Specialist Paediatric or Children's Dentist quietly providing exceptional dental care to infants, children and adolescents, at my Indooroopilly Practice, for close to 20 years. My training is Specialist in nature but in many ways my approach is quite simple: do what you do well, keep it as simple as possible, take away unnecessary things and retain only what's important to achieve sound dental health and well being.

Dr Matthew Fracaro's staff are professionally trained paediatric assistants and are able to assist you and your child with any concerns you may have. Each staff member brings a unique, kind and gentle aspect to the practice.
Paediatric Dentistry is a Board Registered Specialist Field in Dentistry. Paediatric dentists have an additional three years of specialist training to acquaint them with the special needs and remedies available to children. Dr Fracaro also specialises in the behavioural aspects of children and special needs patients.
As Dr Fracaro is a dental specialist your first meeting will be via consultation, typically by referral from your dentist, doctor, or paediatrician. Dr Fracaro happily accepts children whose parents seek or value a second opinion, as well as parents who have been recommended Dr Fracaro through family or friends.
The consultation is an important opportunity to meet Dr Matt, his team and the environment. Not only does this help your child to see that visiting the dentist can be a fun, and very happy experience, but puts to rest many of the myths commonly associated with visiting the dentist. I'm really happy with our whole experience with Dr Fracaro, we had been to a number of pediatric dentist before we were referred to him and he was by far the best one we had been too. His staff were all so friendly and helpful, Dr Fracaro was very kind and respectful everytime he talked to us and when interacting with our son. He did a really good job on our sons teeth, worth the money we spent. My husband and I were really nervous about our son going through the treatment and also going under general anaesthesia but the whole experience ended up being a really positive one. We highly recommend

Dr Fracaro was introduced to our family about 7 years ago - for our daughters dental care. She was born prematurely and we had some concerns about her teeth that were cutting through. Dr Fracaro was so wonderful and really went above and beyond to explain what was happening and how best we could work her dental care moving forward.
7 years on, and 3 more children - we still see Dr Fracaro.
He over sees their dental checkup, any dental concerns and especial the dental care of our 2 premature children. Having Dr Fracaro oversee both their dental development and oral health has been I valuable.

I would highly recommend you get a second opinion. Had we taken the advice provided; my son would have had an extraction, two crowns, a spacer potentially 4 fillings and the moulers sealed. All under general anaesthetic. We attended another paediatric dentist by which my son was only required one extraction and one crown. All completed under local anaesthetic. I’m sure Dr Fracaro is a good dentist but I would definitely recommend gaining a second opinion; prior to any works being completed.

I would recommend Dr Matt to anyone who is in need of specialist care for their child's dental needs. My daughter required paediatric crowns as a result of underdeveloped molars and he did everything possible to explain the treatment in detail and put me, my husband and my daughter at ease.
Every question was answered and we were completely confident that our little girl was in very safe hands.
