Services
Opal Consulting was founded by Biwek Thapa in 2008. Biwek arrived in Australia in 1996 as an international student and achieved a Diploma and a Bachelor's Degree in IT. After a successful career in the IT industry, Biwek decided to apply his skills and experience to help international students and others on the path to Australia.
The Australian Government operates a student visa programme that enables people who are not Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents to undertake study in Australia. A person who wants to undertake a course of study under the student visa programme must obtain a student visa before they can commence a course of study in Australia.
Overseas Student Program (OSP) is a program run by the Australian Government under which people who are not Australian residents (ie neither an Australian citizen nor an Australian permanent resident) can apply for a student visa to come and study in Australia. Promote goodwill and an international understanding of Australia, which are crucial assets for Australia's future trade and security.
Australian schools are among the finest in the world. School education in Australia includes preschool, preparatory (or kindergarten), primary school, secondary school (or high school) and senior secondary school (or college). Schooling lasts for 13 years, from preparatory to senior secondary. School is compulsory until at least the age of 16.
Note: The popular courses do not mean that they guarantee you a permanent visa upon completion of the course. The students are highly recommended to do their own assessment based on their interests, career goals, and needs. Discuss with a registered migration agent or a migration lawyer about the courses which may lead to occupations that are on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL).

It was back in 2010 when I couldn't meet the IELTS requirement and I have only 1 month left on my student visa, as I have already completed my Accounting Degree from UTS and there were no available spots left for me to sit in the IELTS exam as they were all booked out. Still can't forget that day when all hope was lost, when other immigration… lawyers were giving me a negative advise and wan't to charge me a hefty fees for my case, when other university consultants were advising me to re-enrolled back again as an International Student so that they can empty my pocket which was already emptied
