Owner Irene Costi of Rupunzelsroom has had 21 years hairdressing experience, in this time Irene and the team have specialized in all areas of hair both male and female hair. We are based in Maroubra but service the eastern suburbs including Pagewood, Matraville, Malabar, Little Bay, Coogee, Clovelly, Rosebery, Eastlakes, Randwick, Kensington, Bronte, Bondi and Woollahra, .

Services included are unisex hair, hair extensions, barbering, spray tanning, eyebrow treatments, eyebrow waxing, beauty treatments, shellac nails, formal makeup, makeup and bridal hair. Our team is always keeping up with the latest fashion trends when it comes to hair, including ombr, balayage, color, men's cut, ladies cuts styling, blow drys and formal hair.

Revisited salon after nearly six years and Irene remembered my likes and dislikes. Walked into salon with grey covid hair and walked out a lovely beige blond. Felt a million dollars. Lovely atmosphere and really looking forward to my next visit.😍

I am just wowed! I cannot recommend this amazing salon enough! Truly proffessional. Irene is truly beautiful going out of her way to make sure my experience and time spent at Rapunzels Room was one I cannot wait to relive.i have found my forever salon! Love every visit I have here so much I travel 3 hours for each appointment. I currently have the best hair colour I’ve ever had thanks to Irene & her team.
In the past I’ve also had hair extensions which have always been insanely good too. This salon is a hidden gem. Love it! Thanks girls!

I love the experience I have every time I visit Irene at Rupunzels Room. Irene is amazing and her staff are friendly, professional, and accomodating. Irene always weaves her magic on my hair for both cut and colour.
Recently, Irene and her staff helped out when I had a personal issue - they went out of their way to fit me in at short notice and still provide an exceptional level of service. I haven’t come across many other places that treat their customers as well as this.

Miracles do happen at this salon, for me every 4 weeks when I have my cut and colour. Irene has to be one of the best stylists in Sydney. Irene has been taking care of my hair for over 10 years . Had a wedding for my sister on Friday, staff were exceptional. Did an amazing job with everyone's hair, very friendly and professional staff.
Had the lovely Tori do my hair, stayed perfect all day and night, couldn't of gone to a better place nor gotten better service. Will go back again. 100% Will recommend it to anyone!

I found Irene 13 years ago. She was the only lady my son would let cut his hair. We followed her to Rupunzelsroom and have never looked for another salon! Love all the ladies at Rupunzelsroom but my son still only wants Irene!!
