Lockett McCullough Lawyers is a boutique legal firm based in the western Brisbane suburb of Toowong. We are a general legal practice specialising in property matters, estate planning and administration, will disputes, commercial law, family law and dispute resolution. The practice provides legal assistance to a wide range of clients both locally and internationally and specialises in assisting defence force personnel with private legal issues.
Courtney Lockett has practised law for several years in both the Brisbane and Townsville regions. Courtney is a Solicitor admitted in the Law Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia and she has acted for a variety of individual and corporate clientele in boutique, mid-tier and top-tier firms.
In Queensland if you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident which has been caused by somebody else, you may have entitlements to make a claim with the Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurer. Injuries can occur on the road as a driver, passenger, pedestrian, motorcycle rider, a cyclist or on public transport.
You may be able to claim compensation if you have suffered an injury as a result of somebody else's negligence. Property owners and occupiers owe a duty of care to ensure the reasonable safety of people coming onto their property. This includes private properties and public property. A slip and fall on wet surfaces due to spills or contaminants such as in a supermarket or when attending a private property or in rental premises;.
You have a right to expect a high standard of care from your health professional. This can include hospitals, doctors, dentists, nurses, allied health professionals (such as physiotherapists). This is a particularly complex area of law and there are occasions when medical or other health treatment isn't perfect but that doesn't necessarily equate to negligent treatment.

Was not a knowledgeable by being a foreign that I should apply for a permission to buy a house. It is a 6500 AUD fee that I could have avoid by having the right orientation. Was contact by the ATO, about it. Called many times asking for help without any respose, just received Sunday a vague and disrespectful response because I had tried to have some help calling the office many times.
ATO made clear what I should have done to avoid it, instead of the solicitor from Mc Cullough. Now probably will have to pay the permission 6500.

Update - While Donna was excellent during our first transaction, the 2nd time was nothing less than appalling (we didn't use Donna unfortunately). The other Solicitor was rude, unprofessional and didn't even book in settlement causing delays and issues. Awful, unprofessional service
