Paula Horn and Charla Hanson are the owners of Wild Poppy Florist in Sunriver, Oregon. They are designers, business partners and friends. They love the way beautifully arranged flowers make people smile. They are creative, combining unique materials, textures, layers and colors for memorable floral designs.
Beauty is the cornerstone of Wild Poppy Florist - and of Paula's and Charla's careers. Charla began her floral career at the age of 16 with her mother in San Luis Obispo where they used the deep blue ocean, rolling hills, and vineyards as backdrops for their design. She's been active in the floral design business ever since, both in Central Oregon and in Teton Valley, Idaho.

Services
Y'all - hire them. HIRE THEM. Paula and Charla went above and beyond for us for our wedding. We hired them about two years out when we first got engaged, and not only have they supported us personally, they made sure to nail our vision. The day of our wedding the forecast was GRIM, but they were out there in the wind and rain making it happen, plus it was BETTER than I had imagined.
When searching for a florist for my wedding day, I was looking for someone that could help me create a "timeless" feel. I knew nothing about names of flowers, but only had a few photos and a color scheme to work with - but upon setting up an appointment and meeting with Wild Poppy, they were able to put together something that I could never have dreamt!

We've had several bouquets arranged by Charla, she is a true floral artiste. Should you have the opportunity to use her services, seek out Wild Poppy Florist, and enjoy some of the most beautifully designed arrangements in Oregon. They take COVID seriously and do all they can to keep their clients safe. COVID has also caused a shortage on flowers and an increase in prices but, they are worth it.

We loved working with Wild Poppy Florist for our wedding at Sunriver Resort. After relocating our wedding to Sunriver OR with only 6 weeks until the wedding, we didn't book with Wild Poppy until under a month from the wedding. Even with the time crunch, Charla was amazing to work with and took the time to understand our vision and have a video call to figure things out. We were AMAZED on our wedding day when we saw how perfectly she was able to execute our vision with our wedding arch, bouquets, an other touches. Truly unbelievable. Highly recommend working with these fabulous ladies.

I am so grateful I found Wild Poppy. I didn't have a lot of advanced notice in my wedding planning (we moved locations fairly last minute from Portland to Sunriver). All I really needed to do was share my Pinterest page with them and they delivered above and beyond anything I could have imagined. My bridal bouquet was so beautiful and so unique, I really don't think anyone else would have given the bouquets I ended up with. The arch they did for us and the entrance to our wedding was over the top perfect. They were so easy to work with.. I would HIGHLY recommend Wild Poppy and I am a hard person

I have received flowers from Wild Poppy Florist several times. Always the freshest, usually last 2 weeks sometimes longer. Beautiful arrangements helpful, caring ladies who truly do want to make you happy. Talented beyond compare. Love these ladies and the work they do. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Bend, Sunriver or La Pine for flowers.
