We are a family owned centre that has been established by teachers with a passion for children and their education. We are positioned opposite Worongary State School and have been operating since 1996. We care for children from all over the Gold Coast, especially Nerang, Worongary, Highland Park, Carrara and Mudgeeraba areas.
Our vibrant and active leadership group realises the importance of the early years in preparing for school readiness. We take pride in preparing children for Prep and supporting them through this transition to formal education. We share with the children the simplicity and fun of learning by demonstrating that mathematics, language, science and the arts are all around us in everyday life.

At Little Explorers, our family owned centre caters for all families and believes that everyone should have equal access to the very best education and care possible. We strive to deliver quality care and education and believe that children and their families are our number one priority.
This is done by providing an inclusive environment where families, educators and the wider community work together so each child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential.The Directors and Kindergarten Teachers are experienced and qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our Lead Educators are required to hold a Diploma in Child Care or equivalent.

As a staff we believe that families are and should be the principal influence in their child's life. It is therefore vital that families and educators communicate openly and work together in close harmony for the benefit of the children.
Based on knowledge acquired from the family and through educators' observations, staff then strive to create a relevant curriculum and a safe, warm, caring environment which supports the individual competencies, needs and interests of both the families and children.

Our centre's motto is "education through exploration". The goal of our centre is to develop the "whole child" by providing an environment in which the children are eager to explore thus allowing them the opportunity for intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth. To offer families and children a safe, warm, caring environment which supports their individual needs based on open communication.
The majority of educators at our centre are long term employees with a wealth of experience. The Directors and Kindergarten Teachers are experienced and qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our Lead Educators are required to hold a Diploma in Child Care or equivalent. Our Assistant Educators hold or are studying towards a Certificate III in Child Care or higher.
Little Explorers implements high quality developmental programs which reflect the goals and philosophy of the centre. These programs are based on the needs and interests of each child as an individual and the group as a whole. We achieve this through communication with the family, observations, record keeping and regular evaluations of the program.

An amazing family owned and operated centre where the staff and directors really care about your children. The directors have always been so helpful and informative. My husband and I have been meaning to place a review for awhile so that other parents can get some honest feedback. Your child would be super lucky to attend this Childcare Centre.

Beautiful, family owned and operated centre means they really make you feel like part of their family, not another number. Nothing is ever too much and the quality of care and education is matched only by the passion of all of the wonderful staff. Informative, caring, helpful. Can't speak highly enough of our experience!

The team at Little Explorers always exceed our expectations. From the Directors to the Teachers, you can always rely on your child being in the best of care. My daughter loves her child care days and is so social and confident as a result of her time spent at Little Explorers. Both my kids started at this centre from as early as 5 months old, and it was only through the peace of mind of knowing they were in such capable and caring hands that I was able to return to work confidently. I would highly recommend this centre.
