The mud day spa connected to this hotel is the only redeeming quality. So much wrong with this place that I wouldve let go until I was delivered dinner I had preordered hours earlier 15 minutes late and cold. I'm not kidding it want even warm. Cold steak for dinner, yum

Great service and clean. Bed super soft. Great location with few restaurants within the complex. Free parking. Great for a romantic weekend getaway.

Edit: We were compensated for the inconvenience. Phoebe was very apologetic. We understand it was not an error due to staff, but the frustration was still there.
Checked in at 3.30pm, Saturday 30th Oct. Originally booked at Little National but "upgraded" to Hotel Realm due to low occupancy. Twice, we had to go to reception to try and get our keycard to be fixed to be able to access our room. As we were in a rush to be at an event, we left not having the time to test our card the third time. Upon coming back 1am, We found the problem of not being able to access our room was still a problem and

I always love staying here. We were upgraded from the Burbury hotel because it was being renovated. The staff are very professional and friendly and always go out of their way to help you. Even though the restaurant was at full capacity, the maitre de did his best to get us a spot so we could dine there. The rooms and facilities are really nice as well! All in all an excellent experience.

For a five star hotel, I was disappointed. Stained carpets (in room & hallways), basic amenities lacking (room didn’t even have a remote to turn on the tv), and the worst ‘toasted’ sandwich I have ever been served. I think they forgot to put it in the press - for $20.00! I’d stay anywhere else ‘five star.’

Partner and I recently stayed at Realm for her birthday our room was upgraded- Lovely hotel at first glance and seems like it could definitely be enjoyable unfortunately our stay was not that. I'm glad I didn't pay extra for the suite. Bed had a strong a gross smell, paint peeling on the bathroom roof, rubbish under the bed. I'd expect this from a cheap motel. Very very disappointed.

I was assisted but not just one but two staff members and those two staff members could not have been more kind, caring, pleasant, friendly, professional and accomodating if they tried. They went well and truly above and beyond for me and for that I am truly grateful. I do not take that for granted. The establishment and the rooms are first class. The service offering is next level down to the tablet that allows you to make requests. All of the hotel staff should be very proud of what they contribute to the hotel. 5 stars and beyond, over and over again. Thank you again for restoring my faith in

Stayed in the upper penthouse which has a modern and sleek layout. The bed was very comfortable too. The hotel lets itself down on little details that you would normally expect from a 5 star hotel such as the coffee pod machine with no milk warmer, having to order coffee separately (on ipad) for room service breakfast so there is an additional service fee in addition to not getting the order correct, and we reported the leaky tap in the bathroom. Overall it is a nice stay but paying top 5 star price the expectations should be exceeded let alone even met!

I have never given a bad review on Yelp before but this must say the service at Hotel Realm was surprisingly bad.
I handed in five shirts prior at 8:30 am on Friday for laundering. They were promised back by 5:30, starched and folded. When I checked at 6:00pm I was told they would be returned soon. When I got back from dinner at 9:00pm I was told they would be returned much later that night so I ask that they be held at the front desk so I could pick them up at 5:30 to pack them for my 6:00am departure.

This morning when I went to the desk they were not ready and I was told they would be by

Had dinner and drinks here in the restaurant. We were a large group and they catered very well for about 30 of us. Staff were friendly and very tolerant of our drunken state. Pizza was nice, everything else is deep fried. Would definitely pop in again on my next business trip. Drink prices are quite good too.

I was so impressed with Hotel Realm. Everyone that worked at the hotel was so friendly and helpful.
Stayed on the Executive Floor (top floor) in the room I had a full kitchenette with Nespresso machine, huge bathroom with spa bath & rain shower, lounge area, balcony, king size bed.
Let me tell you the bed was super comfortable it was hard to get out in the morning.

Walked in to the room and there was a welcome platter on the table with treats from around the city of Canberra and a hand written note welcoming me. (I always love that)

After being out all day to come back to your room and

Nice hotel. Ask for a room with a view toward parliament house. The restaurants are okay, but suggest you venture out to Manuka or Kingston for more fun.
