We also offer technical classes in Ballet, Jazz and Tap. Entry to these classes is based on skill level, as students make their way through the syllabus. Our technical classes in Ballet, Jazz and Tap take students through a rigorous sequence of levels. Students may choose to undertake exams to gain formal recognition of their newly gained skills.

Services
We focus on a dancer's technique, not his or her body shape. Sensible eating and dance training will naturally lead to a healthy body, so there is no need for dancers to obsess over this. We are very careful not to overemphasize the importance of diet and exercise, as this may cause anxiety and sometimes even more serious mental health issues for dancers.
We offer technical classes in classical ballet, jazz, and tap, using the Southern Federation of Dance syllabi. Technical classes are rigorous and focused, with students working towards a defined set of exercises according to their current level. The goal is for students to develop a solid foundation of correct technique, allowing them to safely attempt increasingly difficult steps.
The concert is a great opportunity for your child to experience performing in a fun and friendly environment. The buzzy atmosphere, combined with the novelty of make-up, costumes, stage lights and applause makes this a truly memorable experience for students and their families. With the joy of performing shining through our students' faces the concert is the highlight of our year.
While students are permitted to take exam classes without sitting for their exams, we strongly encourage students to take the exams. We use the Southern Federation of Dance (SFD) syllabi for our exam classes. Each level consists of a number of different steps, which will be taught and revised in class.
Our current timetable is available to download below (in the footer). When enrolling in the parent portal you will only see classes which we have pre-approved for you. If you would like to enrol in a class which is not listed, please contact the office. For classes participating in the concert there will be a $40 costume deposit in terms 1 and 2, with the remainder of the costume cost due in term 3.
