We are sisters Katarina, Dijana and Danijela, with our awesome little team who have a passion for creativity. We truly believe in the transformative power of good styling and decorating.

You guys did a fantastic job. One of the managers at the club said he had never seen that room look so fantastic! I wasn't really keen on having our party at the club as I don't really like the look of the room, but with your decorations it was transformed into something lovely and elegant. It really set the theme of the night.
Before hiring Decorations by Jelena I was a mess. I had one of the most amazing venues in Sydney but could not come to one decision on how to use it to its full potential. With my fianc working on the other side of the country and only returning every 6 weeks for a week it was becoming obvious I needed some help.

THESE GIRLS ARE THE BEST! Honestly.
Kat had my back from day dot, and then continued to answer all my phone calls through the disaster 2020 is. She went so far out of her way to make sure I had everything I wanted, calmed my nerves down and did not hold her opinion back (which I loved because I am not the boss in this industry, she's planned a few more weddings than I have).
On the day Kat and Dani made my life so easy - they did everything for me!!!! Kat even made sure my glass was always full!
The place looked spectacular, better than I ever imagined. You could see the detail, effort and love

We absolutely love Decorations by Jelena. Not only did they make our dreams come true- with the styling for our wedding exceeding every expectation- but they were so wonderful to work with. Thank you for being so lovely, enthusiastic and above all, accommodating! You even built us a brand new beautiful arch and named it after us 😊. Special mention on the flowers- you absolutely nailed them!!! 😘😘😘

DBJ was simply amazing from beginning to end. They listened to our vision and gave us suggestions for how to get the most out of the venue. They remained flexible and communicative throughout the process, including on our big day.
They transformed the reception and ceremony venues into an absolute dream. It was even more beautiful than we could have imagined.
Being a family business, you really feel the dedication they have for their work. Another advantage is you are always communicating with the same person, which makes the process smooth and easy.

Kat and Dani surpassed our expectations and made our wonderful wedding even better than we had ever imagined. Wow, wow, wow - where do I begin!? I reached out to many stylists when I first started wedding planning and the majority were slow to come back to me (if they even did come back to me!), unhelpful and even cold. Katarina on the other hand wrote me up a personalised proposal within an hour and was probably the friendlist person I had ever come across. The Decorations by Jelena team have made the entire wedding planning process enjoyable, exciting and easy. My fiance thought having a stylist wasn't necessary and boy, did he change his tune when he met Katarina. He couldn't stop singing her praises

Kat and the DBJ team did an amazing job styling our ceremony and reception in the Southern Highlands - the venues looked stunning and I received so many compliments about how beautiful the wedding was! Kat was so easy to deal with and was super patient working with me and my perfectionism :P
The day before the wedding we were told that we couldn't use the ceremony lawn that we had planned on using and I just left it in Kat's hands and she found another part of the property to set up the stunning ceremony and everything ran really smoothly! I was able to totally relax

I have had the privilege of seeing them work tirelessly behind-the-scenes; from queuing up to enter Sydney flower markets at 4am, to prepping thousands of dollars of flowers, to assembling all the pieces to make an event space absolutely magical.
On one occasion, a fully set-up outdoor ceremony (complete with a chandelier no less) was moved inside within a span of 15-mins as it started to pour. That's dedication beyond the call of duty.
