Tyre wear and tear is natural part of driving, unfortunately. Since most cars are front-engine cars, the front axle bears more weight than the rear axle. This means your front tyres wear quicker than your back tyres. The sidewalls on your left tyres are more likely to get bumped and rubbed against the pavement when parking your car.
Tyre wear indicators are situated in the middle of the main grooves. These indicators are small raised bumps at the bottom of the grooves or tread patterns. If the surface of the tyre rubber is level with the bump (legal limit), the tyre must be replaced because you may no longer be driving in safety and you may be breaking the law.

Never had a bad experience with these guys, they are always honest and will look after you with the price of tyres. Got a screw in back tyre and called in for a replacement, ended up with 2 nexen tyres nearly new for £60. Very efficient when you have to visit, bailed me out on a Sunday a while back aswell, nowhere else local was open to get a tyre change that was needed.

Made intial phone call asking for tyre quotes..good fast phone service...and tryes in stock..Turned up 1hr later "un-appointed "..dealt with very quick and an engineer assigned "James"....carried our a tyre change and also did "tracking" check....minecwas way out and James managed to bring it into specification...well done...good service.

Just had my wheels refurbished as my tyres were constantly going down and sick or having to get new tyres or pumping them up every week. A guy who put my latest tyre on recommended AP tyres to fix the issue. Looked at a few different places and they seemed like the best option. The service was faultless and they were all very friendly and helpful. My favourite tyre place. UPDATE: since I got the wheels refurbished I've driven 2000 miles and I've not had to pump my tyres up at all. I did have to do pump them up every 200 miles. Excellent service. Went to one German car specialist in Sheffield for tracking. They wanted 95 pound then told me its going to cost more as the track rods look worn. Went to ap tyres and they checked and tracked it for half the price without any issues and did it straight away. Absolutely impressed with their professionalism definitely a returning customer. Refurbished 4 Porsche alloys and fitted new Michelin rubber. First class service as always from AP and Bry especially.
