Our pre school students are capable of amazing things at Fire Phoenix Martial Arts, and we love introducing these, our youngest students to what can become a life long passion. Our classes for the pre school students, or Green Phoenix students are based around developing the skills they will need to one day become awesome martial artists.
Our primary school students are divided into two age groups, the Blue Phoenix students who are 5-8 years old and the Red Phoenix students who are in 8-12 years old. In our Blue Phoenix programme we teach a wide range of martial arts techniques from striking, blocking and kicking to rolling and falling safely.
Students in this programme, known as our Black Phoenix students are typically aged from 12 to 16 years old, and through the shared fun of hard training, develop strong friendships with one another. Students in this programme are introduced to more concepts of Hapkido such as basic joint locks and holds, and basic throws, as well as the kicks and strikes of Hapkido.
Weapons training is a fun and exciting aspect of martial arts training. The weaponry classes are open to any student in the unlimited training programme aged 5 years and older. Students at Fire Phoenix have the opportunity to study any weapon they are interested in. We teach both the traditional and the extreme weapons skills, and students can choose to focus on one or both styles.
