Hi, I am Scott Hayes the owner and director of Premier Building and Pest Reports. I have extensive knowledge and experience within the building industry, starting my career at 15 years of age. I completed my carpentry apprenticeship before moving on to my Building Foreman and Clerk of Works post-trade course and successfully obtaining my open class builders licence at age 22.
The building inspection is carried out above and in accordance with Australian standard AS 4349.1. PLEASE NOTE the Australian standard is the minimum standard. Premier building and pest reports carry out their inspections above the minimum standard. A floor level survey, thermal imaging, and termatrac radar equipment are just three of our services above the Australian Standard.
A timber pest inspection is a comprehensive visual inspection conducted to Australian Standards 4349.3 2010. Our motivation is to prove to ourselves the building to be inspected does not have active termite infestation and not simply to assume that infestation is not likely.
