Hung Kuen ( also called Hung Ga ) Kung Fu is one of the most popular martial art styles of Southern China. It is known for its devastating close-range hand techniques, delivered through the power of a strong-rooted stance.
Utilizing the Charisms/ techniques of the 5 animals ( Tiger, Crane, Leopard, Snake and Dragon) this system combines both hard and soft power to offer a complete system for health and self-defense, as well as internal power and mental focus.Stance training is an important part of this style as it is the platform from which hand and arm techniques are launched.

Enlightenment is achieved through quiet contemplation of your own self. Chinese martial arts are an unique form of activity in that it combines all three elements.
The program we run for children is called the "Young Dragons" Junior Kung Fu. Within this program our classes focus on the study of Kung Fu, which develops increased focus and concentration as well as building self esteem and confidence. Students develop increased core strength, improved flexibility and overall body / brain connection and coordination.
