Your eye health is of utmost importance to us here at Churchlands Optical. It's essential to have your eyes checked regularly, therefore we will always Bulk Bill your eye examination under Medicare. During your consultation, the Optometrist will tailor the eye test to your specific needs.

Our Optometrist aims to develop an understanding of your needs and preferences for contact lenses to advise and prescribe the most convenient, hygienic and cost effective options for you. We have a range of contact lenses available from various suppliers, with Daily, Fortnightly and Monthly options.
As part of your child's regular health checks it is recommended to get their eyes tested every 12 to 18 months; even if things seem fine. Often young children may not understand the difference between how they see and how they should be seeing. That is where we come in! Our Optometrist has a strong focus on picking up vision problems in young children at the earliest possible stage in order to treat and manage any emerging conditions.

Each individual requires prescription glasses for different reasons and various focal points, therefore we aim to tailor the lens and prescription to your needs. Single vision lenses are an individual lens that contain the same power throughout the whole lens.
