After I graduated from Aston university, Birmingham, England in 2002 I worked as an optometrist in a number of leading independent practices in Knightsbridge and at Selfridges opticians in London. I moved to Australia in 2007 and worked alongside Nick Humphry, a highly experienced optometrist with a special interest in the fitting of complex corrective contact lenses for corneal grafts and keratoconus.

Our eye examinations incorporate use of advanced technology including optical coherence tomography (OCT) and retinal photography. At Eye C Optometry we check for the following eye diseases and conditions during our comprehensive eye examinations. At Eye C Optometry we diagnose and manage red eye conditions. Dry eye is a common condition and can range in severity from occasional grittiness to constant discomfort and blur. There is no cure for dry eye but it can be successfully managed.

My experience with Sonal and Sue was fantastic. They explained all tests and made me feel at comfortable and at ease. I can now see clearly again! I'm the proud owner of a beautiful set of reading glasses and would not hesitate to recommend them. Very professional and fantastic service. Sonal was very friendly and extremely helpful when she tested my eyes and when she assisted me with putting in my hard contacts for the first time. Told me exactly what I needed to do to take care of them, was also very flexible when it came to cancelling/changing appointment times too. 5 stars (would be 10 stars if google would let me). If you need to go see an optometrist, this is the one to go to. Highly recommend it.

EYEC is the best optometrist I have been too. The service, the examination, the lenses and the frames are top quality! I have both reading and sunglasses, I love both pairs. I particularly like the lenses that EYEC use!

I have been struggling with being able to get prescriptions glasses to be made due to the fact i have keratoconus really bad in one eye. All the “chain/franchise” optometrist got my prescription as good as they could but never perfect.
I went to see Sonal to see if I would make a good candidate for RGP contact lenses. Sonal showed me all the options and got me to try different lenses to make sure I would be happy with the end result making sure my comfort and vision was improving throughout the process.

I was looking for a specific type of glasses for my child and reached out to Eye C Optometry. Even though I am from Mauritius, the team was eager to assist me and did whatever it took to get me the pair of glasses! The Optometrist was sooooo helpful and supportive - She gave us tips and advice and the process was very smooth. She always came up with solutions and gave us regular updates. Genuinely 5-star service, even if it was out of 4. Having always relied on the chain optometry stores, I can honestly say that this was worlds apart. The eyewear I purchased are of a quality I haven't seen before, and the service experience was exceptional - friendly, with great product knowledge and a desire to please. My advice? Go there.
