If you are not sure what style you want to learn, then this class will give you a taste of all of them. If you are finding you are attending alot of weddings, dinner dances and balls, we highly recommend you learn Ballroom Dancing. What sets us apart from other Dance Schools in Melbourne, is that we teach you how to lead & follow.
Salsa is the most contemporary style of dance we have. Salsa is a popular form of social dance that originated in New York with strong influences from Latin America, particularly Cuba and Puerto Rico. You can head to the clubs in Melbourne and watch them burn up the floor to hypnotic rhythmical beats every weekend.
In these classes we teach all three styles of Ballroom: Modern, Latin American & New Vogue, as well as Street Latin and Rock 'n' Roll. These classes are a stepping stone towards competition and are a great confidence builder. No costumes are required until they select to compete in Ballroom Dancesport Competitions.
If you love the era of the 50's and 60's then we will have you rockin' and rollin' in no time. You will learn rockn'roll, Jive and 4 beat swing. As you progress you will also learn lindy hop. What sets us apart from other Dance Schools in Melbourne, is that we teach you how to lead & follow. We are very passionate about dance and we teach the style and feel of the dance, not just steps.
Although group classes are fun and a great way to meet other people, they may not suit everyone. In a private lesson you get individual attention, you choose which dances you learn and the lesson can be at a time that best suits you. Medal dance classes are perfect for those dancers wishing to develop their technique.

I remember years ago watching Dance With Me (1995 I think!) and Mambo King (now this is starting to show my age!) and thinking that wow! I really want to do that too! But it's not just the dancing that really inspired me. It's the whole thing, the dancing, the music and most importantly the sense of being in the loving and caring dance community!
I have to say that I have achieved ALL of the above from Two's Company! From day one when my partner and I walked through the door. Steve and Desne were very welcoming, take us through various dance styles and introduced us to many many amazing people

My partner and I started with Desne and Steve four years ago. We had danced before but not ballroom. They are fantastic teachers, friendly, funny, knowledgeable, honest and patient. Two's Company is a dance studio without the attitude that sadly exists in many other studios. It is personal yet professional and provides the perfect environment to grow as a dancer and extremely enjoy that process. Over the years we made many friends at the studio. I can recommend it for beginners as well as seasoned dancers.
