Beat Dance School

Beat Dance school began in 2006. The purpose was to open a school where people could access good safe dance practices; where the opportunity was available for all types of people, who could join in the passion and inspiration dance delivers. At Beat Dance we share the enthusiasm and strive to fulfill and satisfy, your every dance need.

Mini's: ages 2-4yrs - Triple and double bill classes make dancing fun and engaging. Jazz/ballet, Jazz/Tap/Ballet classes are great to learn a bit of each style.

30 min classes run only on mornings. Jazz - Include a range of styles and music, such as, Musical Theatre, Commercial Jazz, Song and Dance, Pop, RNB and Funk. Introducing these styles will make for an all rounded dancer/performer. All Jazz classes help students with coordination, strength and isolation of the body.

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Intermediate Contemporary classes are structured for ages 8-13yrs who have little to no experience in contemporary or are adding this genre of dance to their repertoire.

Classical Ballet helps students learn body awareness. It is a fantastic start to improve balance, coordination and flexibility; through exercises and routines, ballet terminology and safe dance practices. Children learn the foundation beginnings of Classical Ballet through games and exercise's. Engaging their imagination children develop and learn skills to enable them to progress to higher levels.
