Services
Start your stay with locally sourced wine and complimentary chocolates on your own private veranda while we introduce you to what the area has to offer. Your home away from home beckons you with a queen size bed made with luxurious bed linen, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. Relax and indulge in our couple's bath with lavender bath bombs and beautifully scented candles as you look out into the forest.
On arrival you will receive a complimentary bottle of wine and a selection of chocolates to get your break off to a flying start. Choose the type of breakfast hamper you would like us to provide - all the goodies for a full cooked breakfast or the lighter option of a continental breakfast. Complete your contact details - let us know any special dietary requirements or if you are bringing your "fur-kids".

The best holiday ever! Beautiful accommodation with every comfort and convenience provided, generous and delicious breakfast platter, and views that have to be seen to be believed. As lovely as the accommodation was, I spent as much time as I could at the creek, beside the fire pit or on the veranda - enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Thanks Richard and Grace for offering the perfect escape from the real world. I’m already planning my next visit!

What a beautiful spot to have a mini break. The room is excellent, the surroundings and the views down to the creek are stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our cheese platter and glass of wine while sitting down by the creek. The supplied breakfast was plentiful and we cooked it on the BBQ sat on the verandah taking in the views. A beautiful, relaxing getaway. The private running creek access is very special. Breakfast platters were huge, delicious and tasty! We had a lovely time chilling with the mountain rain and sounds of the gushing creek, sipping wine under the fairy lights tree and spending time with our dog Kaos who was welcome to come along. He enjoyed exploring the water holes. Very clean and each detail a nice touch. Thanks to our lovely host Richard for having us.

Excellent little studio bed n breakfast. Beautiful decor, and recently updated. Large bath with lavender bath bomb. So serene able to hear the creek running whilst inside room. Beautiful view from the deck. Large excellent breakfasts that you cook on the BBQ. Excellent hosts. Highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed here this weekend for our wedding night. Couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to have gotten ready for my wedding aswell as waking up next to my husband the next morning. Amazing yummy English Breakfast and lavender scented bath bomb, I can’t describe just how beautiful the cottage on Obi is. Hubby and i will be back.

An amazing and peaceful place to visit. Very romantic, relaxing and clean with everything you need for your stay. Richard and Grace were very friendly and so helpful. We would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back again.

Amazing place for a get away! We can't say enough to express just how great an experience we had. The location is perfect and right on the creek. Richard and Grace are amazing hosts and are available as little or as much you require. Breakfast is generous, as was the cheese platter we added on! Highly recommend The Cottage on Obi Creek!

My husband and I stayed here for the night and it was absolutely beautiful. The hosts were very accommodating and kind. The room and grounds were of excellent quality, with a beautiful view of the creek and a lovely fireplace all set up. Perfect if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway in Maleny. Look forward to coming back again.

We spent the June long weekend at the Cottage on Obi Creek. We were treated like royalty and felt so relaxed when we left.
The owners know what is needed from their guests and shared their local knowledge with us. We enjoyed exploring the local area and then relaxing back in our quarters listening to the creek whilst enjoying dinner on the verandah.
The accomodation was beautiful and exceeded our expectations, all the comforts of a hotel and so much more. The breakfast pack was very generous and suited the location.

My review can't do justice to the amazing experience at the cottage created by owners Richard and Grace. They speared no expense in creating a 5 star luxury atmosphere, from the local produce breakfast to spa resort like bathroom and bathrobes. My wife and I enjoyed the luxury cottage and beautiful gardens but the creek is what sets this place apart from anywhere else we have stayed. We recommended to all our friends and will return soon. Make sure to bring a camera because there is something to capture at every moment of your stay.
