Services
Dr Paterson completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) in Brisbane in 2012 before moving to Canberra to study medicine, graduating from the Australian National University in 2016. She completed her internship and residency in Canberra (at both the Canberra Hospital and Calvary Hospital) and spent a year developing her skills in critical care medicine at Calvary Hospital.
Short consult for brief, well known and previously documented medical issues such as prescription renewals and referrals. Long consultation for complex medical issues to be discussedwith a generalmedical history recorded. This consult is for extensive, complicated medical issues lasting for 40 minutes or longer with an extensive history recorded.
An appointment for a standard consultation will be made with your preferred doctor or the next available doctor, depending on your preference. Extended consultations are available on request. If you anticipate that your consultation will be long, please advise the receptionist when making the appointment.
We're here for you and can schedule an appointment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If the office is not open, we can refer you to one of our on call Doctors at your nearby hospital. We're available 7 days a week and have specific office hours with all doctors on staff. Outside of normal office hours you can receive an on call Doctor or Nurse at your nearby hospital if needed.

Tried to call to book an appointment and the reception staff member who answered was very dismissive and tried to send me elsewhere before I even had a chance to explain my situation. Normally the staff have been great and I understand how busy they are but it was a very unpleasant experience at an extremely stressful time.

My whole family has been coming to Waramanga medical centre since I was a child. Not once have I been told I could buy ventolin over the counter at any pharmacy. I had an asthma episode last month and ran out of ventolin. I called up and explained my situation; I was told I couldn't yet a script because I hadnt been for a few months, and couldn't get an appointment that day. Lucky my friend had a spare puffer, she also told me I could buy ventolin over the counter. I called Waramanga medical centre to ask them to tell people in the future that this option was available, to which the senior receptionist
