Malpara Florist is a Townsville based boutique florist with two studios throughout the city, which was first established in 1962. The business is family owned and operated by George and Anna Gianoulis who have successfully run the studios since 1995. Anna and George made the big decision to buy Malpara Florist in 1995, one week before Mother's day.
At the time, Malpara consisted of four studios around Townsville! The two of them both had no prior knowledge of floristry other than the love for gardening. George was originally a real estate auctioneer/agent and Anna was a book keeper. Needless to say, the first few months of owning the business was a huge learning curve.

The flowers used to create the wedding bouquets and accompanying flowers are specially selected by our growers and delicately packed and sent to us so as to arrive in the best possible condition.
All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST. Malpara Florist delivers to all Townsville residential and business addresses, and throughout Australia. Should there be any delivery restrictions, additional charges may apply to your order depending on distance from dispatch, our internet sales consultant will contact you by telephone and if unsuccessful then via email.

Organised an arrangement for a funeral as I could not get to Townsville
I asked for a photo and was told they would send me one as the flowers will be ready the night before.
I rang on the day to ask why I didnt get a photo and there was no appology "confirmed by my daughter who was listening to the conversation" Maria got very deffensive saying it wasn't her fault and there was nothing she could do. a sincere apology would have been nice.

My friend Maddie and I ordered flowers online today for a friend who recently got engaged. We are in Victoria so we wanted to do something nice. Upon looking at the arragements online we thought they looked amazing.
However when seeing what she recieved, we are disapointed. And disappointed is an understatement.
Our friend sent us a photo of the $100 bouquet she recieved. It was VERY underwhelming and looked like something you could buy from coles.
We are extrememly upset and feel like they charged us and didnt uphold the standard of the website at all!
Dont waste your money!

We recently had Malpara Florist create flowers for our wedding. From the bouquets, to the corsets to the STUNNING arbour. We just loved it and it was better than the Pinterest inspiration pictures! Thank you to Anna and George for working with us through our covid postponement and creating such Devine arrangements, we couldn't be happier. xx
