Susie has been making jewellery and small sculptures for many years since completing a bachelor of fine arts from The College of Fine Arts, UNSW. The organically formed, balanced pieces are drawn from nature, her travels in Africa and outback Australia and of course from her beautiful North coast surroundings.
Working with the environment in mind is a priority at Sunshine Alley. All of the pieces are made in Australia by hand, we use recycled Australian sterling silver and gold, the energy in the studio is generated from solar panels and the water used comes from the properties rain water tanks.

What a gorgeous find. Not what I expected. From the front it looks like a normal shop front but inside there is so much more. Further on in the store its like a fantastic alley of stalls with a gallery style nook at the end filled with clothing, various artworks, amazing jewelry and plants. It's a treasure trove where you could spend hours mooching around in here. So many interesting items on display like hand crafted jewelry, paintings, sculpture, hats and locally crafted textiles. Well worth a looksee
