The educators at Silverdale Child Care Centre have provided my children with many opportunities to learn about Aboriginal culture, especially the Gundugurra people. Audrey and Atticus understand and can say the acknowledgement of country, they have discussed with us at home different Aboriginal symbols and their meanings, and can sing songs in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander language.
The educators have created authentic learning experiences including creating a scarecrow (based on Tiddalick from the Dreaming) for the Luddenham Show in 2020 and they enjoy sharing their knowledge with family and friends. Services
We offer a happy and engaging learning environment with a holisticcurriculum, for children from six weeks old to when they start school -enriching all who take part in its caring, welcoming and diverse community. We also offer limited Before and After School service for school age childrenwho attend Warragamba Primary School and Holy Family Catholic school.
We provide meaningful learning age-specific and anti-bias educational program delivered by qualified and passionate teachers. We help children find magic in the everyday via positive interactions and relationships. Our educators appreciate and support our children and guide their experiences as the co explorer.
