They are out most of the day during the week but usually home on the weekend, so we've assumed their usage per week would be approximately 45 hours.

The furnace failed at one of my rental properties on a wintery Pittsburgh weekend - hours before a significant snow storm. South Hills Electric was responsive and effective in repairing the furnace and restoring the heat for my tenant within hours. Jake, the repair technician, was prompt, informative, and professional in his diagnosis and repair. I happily paid a reasonable emergency service fee for knowledgeable service to restore the heat to protect my tenant and my property. After years of using another company, South Hills Electric will be my go-to for HVAC.

I scheduled an appointment for South Hills Electric to troubleshoot why one of our breakers continued to be tripped. This had been an ongoing issue. Natalie (technician) was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She wore a mask (for COVID protection) and shoe covers while in the house. She asked several questions, considered a variety of factors, and then took action. She quickly fixed the issue (the solution was easier than I expected) and she also repaired one of our external outlets. It has been about a month and thankfully the issue has not returned. Highly recommend for professional service

The technician was excellent. Professional, efficient, and thorough. The scheduling was quick and easy. Have to give this 2 stars because of the rates. $525 to install a junction box, wire, and a new outlet in an open space (no wire fishing) and less than 10’ distance. I priced the cost of materials - less than $30. Yet they charged $150 for “installing” (no conduit or fishing required) 10ft of wire. $100 for installing a junction box, and $150 to install a surface mount receptacle. All this on top of the $129 trip charge. This was a very simple job; less than 2 hours in and out. I expected

Me and my fiancé bought a house and needed 3 sockets in our new home grounded and also we wanted to get a light installed at the top of the basement steps. Our electrician was Natalie and she was excellent. Donna handles the coordination of appointments and payment. Natalie was fast and cleaned up after herself, you couldn't even tell any work was done! Donna was always friendly on the phone and prompt to respond to my calls if she missed them. Price for everything was super reasonable and would use this company again for any of our electrical needs.

Out of 4 electricians I called, only South Hills Electric could provide an electrician on short notice/ same day. My elderly mother was at her home and developed an electrical issue that I could not figure out. Within two hours of my call, South Hills Electric sent an electrician who spent at least another 2 hours (and called in another electrician) trying to diagnose what appeared to be a simple fix but wasn't.
