Services
The Tocumwal Railway Heritage Museum is located in the historic railway station. At the western end of town, there are three museum areas. The front museum incorporates photos and memorabilia dating back to 1908 and a steam train mural. There is rail and Lion's Club memorabilia, along with tea rooms in the middle room and the third museum is furnished with old furniture and memorabilia, together with a working model train display.

Owner has 2 red v8 cars with very loud exhausts that he keeps in the complex, he is in and out in these cars regularly. The idle of the exhausts is very loud and resonates through the rooms, forget a sleep in after a long week at work he starts the car at 0715am on Saturday then idles the car in the complex for 10 minutes waking you up.
He also runs the cars through the gears up the street revving them up.
Moreover he is running a business from the complex and has loud earthmoving equipment. Extremely irritating and rude. Absolutely no consideration for the guests.
Look elsewhere.

No bath mat in wet bathroom.
Tiles when wet were very slippery.
Sheets had bad pilling and was like sleeping with sand around your feet.
Office closed before 8pm couldn't access free Wi-fi
Left msg on Monday tel answering machine, 11 hours later still not answered my msg.
Great hotel for meals through back gate. Very friendly locals in hotel.

Stayed before and loved it so booked out the majority of rooms for my 40th, staff made sure we had everything we could need and full access to the outdoor entertainment area at a great rate. Lovely and clean, renovated rooms, super comfy bed, great towels! All my friends want to go back again already.

Myself and my wife had to evacuate Harrietville in Victoria last week. My wife saw that this motel was offering free rooms to evacuees. We took them up on their offer and it really helped us out. With all that was going on it was a lovely gesture to not have to worry about accomodation for three days...they also offered to put us up for as long as we needed. We heard a knock on the door on the second day and upon opening recieved a lovely bag of fresh veggies to help out with meals.

I don't think I've experienced better service and value for money anywhere, this place is a gem! I called ahead, they had the best rate in town and when i arrived everything was ready to go, they had even warmed up the room. There was a small issue with some other guests who'd had a few drinks (could happen anywhere on a Saturday night) which the owner swiftly and tactfully resolved. The good sized rooms are tastfully updated and immaculately presented, i cant recommend this one highly enough!!

Honestly, more than value for money!!!
I’ve stayed in 8 motels in the past 10 days and this tops the lot! And and as a kicker, it’s the cheapest one I’ve stayed in.
Big room, brand new AC, comfy bed, massive wardrobe, blackout curtains, a real fridge, microwave, kettle etc etc but the best part..clean EVERYTHING! I would stay here 100 times over again.
