Our Principal Designer Pete Taylor has been involved in all forms of building design since 1980 and commended for his detailed house plans by builders, surveyors and council. The designs produced by taylor'd DISTINCTION reflect the dynamic nature of building design. Exceptional designs require enthusiasm and energy, combined with the ability to embrace new technologies and practices to maximise a project's potential.
Designer Jaegan joined our team during 2017. With a Diploma in Building Design and his knowledge of new technologies such as Revit and 3D visualisation software, he adds considerable depth to Taylor'd Distinction's services. Working closely with Pete during early concept design and building permit documentation, Jaegan's strengths are his eagerness to learn and his fine eye for form & function.

We recently had the pleasure of working closely with Peter and Jane Taylor and their team at Taylor’d Distinction to design our new home. The process has been a smooth, enjoyable and problem free one. Peter is very passionate about his work and has a real talent in the design area. We were referred to Pete through a valued contractor, and once we looked at Taylor'd Distinction' work on their website we were immediately drawn to his impressive designs. He provided us with 3-D images and video flyover of our design. This helped enormously to visualize our proposed home.
Pete showed us his own home to explain many of the practical aspects of the design. His approach is flexible, friendly, and client focused.
He consulted well with the certifier, town planner, engineer and builder to ensure our design conformed with local rules, was practical to build and delivered on our lifestyle.

I would happily recommend Pete Taylor from Taylor'd Distinction. He helped me put together my vision and was happy to change the design as I played around with layout and budget. Extremely easy to get along with and communication was open and effective. The plans were drawn to a high standard and we had no problems with council at all. As a designer myself, I strongly advise getting a professional building designer like Pete. It's not just plans and layout, it involves knowledge of engineering, associated costs with layout and thinking about things like best use of space, airflow, light and energy
