Would give half a star if I could. Worst strata company ever. Move into a new unit as an owner in 2019. Unprofessional in relation the knowing the set up of initial strata fee costs of a new complex. Hadn't aloud correct strata fee budget for annual maintenance. Uncooperative, in the end all 100% of the owners in the complex agreed changing strata companies would be the best for everyone involved.

I lease an apartment that is managed by Pro-Active Strata. I moved in 7 months ago. When I moved in I found that the lift was faulty. Speaking to one of the other residents I found out that it had been faulty since April (8 months ago at the time), so I rang the strata and explained that I have rheumatoid arthritis and without the lift I just can't live here. They sent someone to disable the lift until it could be repaired. I had to pay people to move my belongings up the stairwell, it was about a week until the lift was working.

I found them beyond frustrating to deal with and hard to comprehend how they charge what they do for what they do. In my opinion, outfits like this are the ones that turn people away from strata living; it becomes too expensive for what I believe gives very little in return.
I would be hard pressed to find a business that I've had such a bad experience with.
* Our contract has since expired and we have moved to another provider which was easy to do! So far the service has been great. Grass seems much greener on the other side and much happier.

Beware! Pro-Active will continue to send all sensitive emails to previous rental managers after continued request by owner and previous rental manager to stop at a cost to all owners of course forever!
Very frustrating! Great revenue raiser for them.
They have silly forms they suggest filling in instead of acting on email request. All about $$$ not about customer service on this issue.

Unprofessional with no attention to detail and apparent disregard for safety.
I had concerns for public safety when a gaping hole was left unsecured and completely unattended in a location where young children regularly play. Thankfully it was eventually cordoned off sometime later that night, albeit very amateurishly, with large chunks of debris and broken section of pavement outside the sectioned off area.
There was absolutely no empathy or understanding from this company whatsoever despite damage to our personal property by the independent repairer they contracted. Also communications from

I have found Pro-active Strata Management to be getting better and better> Willing to listen, capable of understanding, professionally well- informed about the existing arrangements, proposed changes to regulations and the essential importance of these to tenants, owners and others. Have found ProActive very frustrating to deal with. They have been very unhelpful, disorganised with appalling communication. They stopped responding to emails and phonecalls without explanation. When this happened, we requested to ‘mutually agree’ to change strata companies as they didn’t seem interested in helping us. Found them to be very difficult and threatening when we requested to ‘part ways’. Very stressful dealing with this company.

Lived in several apartments in Northbridge for the past 6-7 years and this proactive strata management company is the worst. They responsible for the Linq apartment in Northbridge and residences cars got broke in ALL THE TIME. The gate remain faulty and unfixed for most of the time. Unfriendly staff and not helpful at all. After my car got broken in the second time, I emailed them and mentioned that they are responsible to check CCTV and find out who are those theifs came from and how they got in. They replied and said they can maximum check 3-4 hours CCTV clips otherwise there will be cost to

Simone amd her team have been really good and helpful for us. They are very quick to respond to emails and concerns, hold a great variety of knowledge and experience dealing with strata so they provide good advice. Despite dealing with multiple strata, they are quite aware of particulars in our own complex so it gives a personal feeling. I ordered a set of remote keys and it was processed within 24hrs, pick up next day. Two years I've asked reticulation to be turned off and each time it was done within 24hrs. Good job and happy with them. Cheers
