Berwick Family Osteopathy & Spinal Clinic (BFOSC) was established in 2010 by Dr Lauren Collins with the vision of providing the best osteopathic treatment and care to as many people in the Berwick and surrounding suburbs. Her aim was to get people moving better, feeling better and living a happier and healthier life.
Lauren is a friendly and caring Osteopath that graduated from Victoria University in 2007 and strongly believes the whole family can benefit from the holistic approach of osteopathy. Lauren has completed extensive post-graduate study into the field of Paediatrics and Obstetrics, having undertaken studies into Osteopathy in the Cranial Field and completing a Graduate Certificate in Neonatal, Infant and Paediatric Manual Therapy.
Osteopathy is a form of 'hands-on' manual therapy that believes the structure and the function of the body are very closely linked. Osteopaths use a holistic approach to assess, examine, treat and manage the musculoskeletal system. Osteopaths examine and treat more than just the site of pain.
