Kreis Grennan Architecture is a creative collaboration between architect & licensed builder Christian Grennan, and project manager & property developer Chris Kreis. With these complementary skills and over 25 years of experience, KGA provides comprehensive services in architecture, urban design, project management and property development.
A detailed return brief is the jumping off point for a responsive design. As well as listing physical desires, such as type and number of rooms, KGA seeks to understand how residents live and how they use space. This includes analysing daily habits, rituals, and the use of the existing dwelling.
While this brief forms the basis for creative exploration, KGA recognises the inherent need for flexibility, as the possibilities of a project are revealed throughout the process.Ultimately, this flexibility results in a more considered and comprehensive design proposal, which continues to develop in a cyclical process of refinement to produce the most authentic and evolved result.

It's a Pod located in a Yard! The dictionary defines a Pod as: streamlined enclosure, housing, or detachable container of some kind; and Yard as: a piece of enclosed ground adjoining or surrounding a house or other building. We have designed the YrdPods as small, architectural buildings providing a flexible addition to a space, in either an urban or rural setting.
