Established in Fremantle Western Australia, Lou Valsecchi & Associates started operations in 1979, a family-owned and operated business with decades of industry experience and partnerships with agents worldwide. We offer a personalised service as part of our overall commitment to our customers. Operating from an office in Fremantle until 1997, we moved to premises in O'Connor with an office and warehouse.
Lou Valsecchi & Associates is involved in all aspects of import and export, both sea and air transportation. We arrange domestic logistics, coastal cargo, as well as rail and road freight. Our services are available to any business that requires expertise for all areas of trade and logistics, dealing with small packages to industrial machinery.
Our licensed Customs Brokers have extensive knowledge of all areas of customs laws and protocol. We provide informed advice on customs duties, goods & services tax and consultations on tariff concessions. Our in-house Customs Brokers are accredited by The Australian Quarantine LCL/FCL Cargo Clearance Scheme.
Our in-house transport department can assist with collection and delivery of import containers from Fremantle port or the coordination of export containers. We use the vehicle booking system at Patrick & DP World, utilise our own trucks for the collection, delivery, and de-hire of containers by side loader or conventional trailer.
We operate a Customs 77G Licensed Depot. Under this accreditation, we are able to 'underbond' cargo which is not Customs cleared to our premises. For example, in circumstances where a timely Customs Clearance is unable to be completed due to a delay of documentation. We can transport full containers from the wharf as well as LCL cargo from unpacking depots to our warehouse until cleared and ready for delivery.
