Nice, family friendly atmosphere. There is a good space for children to run around and the food is classic pub food. The kids pizza wasn't great but otherwise I enjoyed my schitty and my partner had a good steak. Also loved their covid safe protocols. Whilst I did get an alert that I was a casual contact there, I did feel like they had good social distancing practices and there was a security guard ensuring check ins and masks.

I've always enjoyed going to Kincumber Hotel but never ore so than when I my kids had a barney over a stolen chicken nugget and I asked them if I could buy a couple to make them stop bickering. The chef nodded his head knowingly (must be a dad) and made the 'peace nuggets' for me free of charge. It's a little thing but in the moment, when I was tired and annoyed and just wanted them to shut up, it was massive!

Kincumber Hotel is a relaxed setting, friendly atmosphere with plenty of play area for the kids. The menu is full of great dishes from pizza to wagu beef all very tasty. The pub side of the hotel has the traditional public bar with tab, chilled out lounge area and beer garden that hosts live music. Not to be forgotten is the poker room for those that like to chance their luck all in all a fantastic place to spend some time, enjoy.

While I didn't experience the whole venue, the bistro area was excellent. Staff were courteous and attentive. The food was great and well portioned.
When we got there we noted the bistro's outside area has a kids play area and in general the place felt pretty kid friendly, evidenced later by the amount of families with kids that showed up.
All in all, a good experience, would recommend for a good pub meal.

Celebrated my husbands birthday at the Kincumber with family last night and whilst the place has a really good atmosphere and staff were friendly the food left a lot to be desired. The Schnitzel was dry and curled up, served with a tiny portion of chips and probably a thimbleful of gravy/sauce. Granted it was the ‘special’ but you would think they could get an Aussie classic like this half edible. 🤢
The salmon which is $27 was raw in the centre, served thrown in a dish with some tasteless greasy potatoes and some sort of warm mayo sauce absolutely disgusting and for the price I expected
