Before deciding to rent a property there are a few rules and regulations that you need to take into consideration. A Residential Tenancy Agreement or 'lease' will be drawn up and is the legal contract that both you and your landlord must abide by. Lease/tenancy agreements differ between states, so please make sure you have the documentation from your appropriate state.

You will not meet a better, more knowledgeable or professional property sales agent than David Servi. Trust is not often a word I think of when speaking about property sales - but I would trust David with a (big) bag of cash and a plane ticket. Our investment property needed a makeover before sale which would have been difficult for us as we don't live in Sydney. David did all the groundwork for us using his contacts, tradies etc but all billing us directly. If you let him he will guide you to realise the very best price you could ever hope to get. The time and effort he put in with our apartment

The team at Spencer and Servi have been great. As long term renters (> 5 years) they have been great to deal with. All staff including Melanie as our current property manager and staff at reception have been fair to deal with and responsive to any issues that need to be addressed. From application, to renewal, to final inspection and timely full bond return they have been a great real estate agent to deal with. They have always been compassionate and allowed our pets to be treated like members of the family.

Without doubt, the worse real estate agents I have witnessed in Sydney. Changed property manager and never contacted me, made complaints for an illegal renovation in a unit upstairs that were never investigated. The owner seems to agree as he used a different real estate agent to sell the property after I moved out. These other reviewers saying the team are highly professional gave me a good chuckle. Emails unanswered, keys missing, non-responsive to complaints. David was aware of this too and did nothing. AVOID.

If I could do zero stars I would.
Don’t rent from here especially if the property manager is Andres Zapata! We had rented a place for few years from here and all I can say is that they were useless.
My roommate and I were co leasing the place and yet he would only email my roommate for when housing inspections would be occurring and any other related queries. Which was a continuous problem as my roommate wasn’t always In the country.
When we asked at the start of the lease for fly screens and new curtains, they promised to get it sorted and never did.

After viewing a small studio in Darlinghurst I wanted to make sure that the laundry area that was close to the unit wouldn't make any noise. For that reason, before I decided to rent I clearly asked the agent if the laundry area was noisy, to which he responded that it wasn't. Worst realtor in the world, hands down! I've lived all my life in rental properties around the world and my experience with Spencer has pushed me to seriously considering buying a property! Extremely unprofessional, cannot handle a computer ( we're in 2020 now! ) to even reverse a transaction on a excel sheet and still owe me money and it's been… over 2 months since we left our last property. Word of advice 1) do not ever rent anything from them 2) if you HAVE to, make sure you pay using a bank account that allows you to reverse transactions ( like I did ) so that you can get your money

Rented a house in Surry Hills (13 Norton Street) for 4 months. Pricing and location was very good but property itself was old and outdated. Property management was even worse. They had no idea how to run a business and the property manager even got fired after the 3rd month of us being there. New property manager was not any better.
