Are you tired of living with stained or discoloured teeth? Porcelain veneers are a fantastic solution to the problems which unattractive teeth can bring, providing a more attractive appearance rapidly. Made from porcelain, the veneers are amazingly strong at the same time as being very thin, which means that little preparatory work is required before they can be fitted.
This is the difference to a dental veneer which only covers the visible side of the tooth. A crown is used for a tooth that has lost a lot of tooth substance, has extensive filings or lost a previous restoration. The fact that the crown covers the whole tooth will give it strength and returning the tooth to its original shape, form and function.
Dental bridges are pretty much what they say on the tin; they literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. Many people like to think of them as a row of crowns joined together and used to close a space left by the loss of a tooth. The bridge is anchored in place against the existing teeth on either side and it looks, feels and functions like natural teeth and you cannot remove from mouth for cleaning.
These are the most cost effective ones and are usually used as a temporary denture, but can be worn for longer periods. An impression is taken and the denture is made in a dental laboratory to the dentist's specification. The denture is held in place with clasps and this requires intact teeth to hold on.
Dr. Irene wants to be able to give you another option than having to go through invasive treatment. Sometimes it might seem easier to do nothing at all and live with a gap in your mouth - especially if it's towards the back where nobody sees it. If you are missing a tooth, it is very important to your health and wellbeing that you get it replaced.

Highly recommend!!! Very friendly staff, every time I had appointment so far I felt like a close family friend! Dr. Irene takes her time to explain everything, assessing the needs as well as expectations, is honest with her professional opinion. I had some crowns and veneers done, which I am very happy with and felt safe (in good hands) throughout the whole process.

What was a traumatic experience loosing my front veneer whilst travelling, turned out to give me the confidence to smile without being worried about the light. I was always self conscious about my tooth looking grey in certain lights.
The cost of treatment was very reasonable compared to other quotes but the work and care that goes in shows in the results.
I even gave her a hug after it was finished.

I had a brilliant experience from start to finish with Kennedy Dental Cosmetics. I had 8 porcelain veneers done.
