Beware! I've bought the last pair of RM WILLIAMS - DYNAMIC FLEX CRAFTSMAN BOOTS during special (I've checked the website and my size was gone after my order) and got the following message next day:
"We are unable to fulfill your order. R.M.Williams are officially SOLD OUT"
If the pair was in stock at the time it was purchased and disappeared from the list after my order the company needs to improve the stock management. I guess what actually happened it was sold to the other customer for higher price in store.

The online team at Grundy’s shoes are fantastic! I purchased a pair of boots that were unfortunately sold out but Evangeline and her team were super helpful! I messaged them asking if they’d be restocked and she took down my details to notify my when they will be restocked and also directed me to other retailers in case I needed them urgently. All in all their responsiveness, friendliness and genuine desire to help really makes Grundy’s Shoes stand apart!

The salesperson was very helpful and a good listener, but also patient too. They had a great variety of brands of shoes and boots for different needs. I recently purchased a pair of ankle boots and they are very comfortable. The leather is nice and soft with a flexible sole.The first time I wore the boots in and I didn't get any blisters.

These guys are good. They're kind of a boutique shoe shop, if that's a thing, and they stock upper quality shoes that you don't generally see in other shops. I've bought shoes from there for some time and they've generally lasted quite a while, with re-soling of course. And they've been generally quite good to deal with.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I was helped straight away by a lovely lady who was very attentive. I felt like she actually cared about my needs and didn't want me to just "hurry up and buy something". Great selection of shoes to keep your feet comfy. I was happy with my purchase and had a positive experience here. Highly recommended.

If a business has survived over 30 years you know something must be going right. Ignore all the mentions of trendy or not trendy, daggy store, blah, blah, blah. Grundy's know what they are talking about and they have made feet go walking out longer then most Yelpers.
Get into some Doc Martens or comfy UGG boots, personally my feet feel naked if they are not wrapped in some side lace sheet goodness boots.
I will go as far to say my Mum took me for my first pair of shoes here back in 1986, ask her yourself. The cost can be a bit pricey but in a place like this you're paying for knowledge

The presentation of this store may be deceiving but they carry a wide range of current seasons stock from a broad selection of name fashion and comfort name brands.
Unlike my fellow yelpers I am aware that fashion and comfort CAN be found in a single product and it is name brands in which this occurs that Grundy's specialises in. The brands they stock are of a very high quality and you will pay for the evident workmanship, until sale time when you can often pick up some amazing bargains.
I once bought Campers here for $89.95, which is unheard of!
As mention, Merrel and Keen make appearances

I take umbrage at the previous reviews for this store! Daggy?? Uncool? I love this place! This is my shoe fashion heaven!
Okay, that says a lot about my sense of fashion.
I must admit, I go for comfort over looks, and Grundy's supports my decision to support my feet.
Their current summer range however does have some nice looking shoes. They're not fashionable, I suppose (though who has a clue), but they are attractively casual. They have a great range of nice looking summer flats, as well as tons of attractive walking shoes.
Grundy's is one of the few places you can find Merrells

Grundy's is so uncool that it is not even cool at all.
I prefer to buy my shoes here so that I can be certain that I am not untowardly engaging in something trendy.
If you jumble around long enough in the shoe racks out the front you are certain to find something that is cheap and incredibly daggy in your size.
To tell truth they usually do stock converse one star's and high tops and dunlop volleys. However i've lost track as to whether or not those are cool or not anymore anyway.

The first time I ever ventured into Grundy's Shoes was when I was looking for a pair of slippers for my dad's birthday, about 30 years ago... You can't miss the shop because they always have a couple of tables out on the side of the road with a bundle of shoes you can go through.
Their building is also drop dead gorgeous as far as the architecture is concerned, really streamlined Art Deco design, very stylish. The shoes they stock tend to be built for comfort rather than style; not to say they don't stock good looking shoes - they do - but the first priority tends to be comfort
