This is my go to for shoes. Pity I don't live in Adelaide now but will visit when in town. They know their stuff about fitting shoes and have an excellent range if you don't mind spending the money. The staff are also very kind and invited me and my little dog in one freezing day when I was standing just inside in the arcade and a nasty security man told us to leave. She was wearing her pajamas.. the doggy not the security stormtrooper. Love the place.

This is really an add-on to my last review of the main Lana Lang store - this is supposed to be their 'clearance' store, but they also stock some brands that they don't stock in the main store ??
I buy my Kubo brand shoes from this Lana Lang - comfy, affordable and good quality. Actually, the ones I am wearing today I've had for about 2 years - the heel has been fixed once, but they're still going!
And that's the theme for shoes I've purchased from Lana Lang - bit higher in price than the average, but rather than being fashion shoes these are built to last

This Lana Lang outlet is my favourite of the two located at the Adelaide Central Markets. They have a good range of Birkentstocks, naots, ecco and other luxury comfort brands.
I have bought several pairs of excellent quality leather boots from this store and although you may pay a pretty penny for some of the lustier products you will want to sleep with them under your pillow as a result.
They stock a brand which I have not seen elsewhere in Adelaide - it's either danish, or swedish and I forget the name at the moment, but they honestly made the most attractive tan knee high boots last season

When walking past Lana Lang Shoes, from the outside it looks unassuming.
Take a closer look inside though, and you will find that Lana Langs has a range of fashionable and affordable shoes.
They have two stores in the Adelaide CBD: one is "The Boutique" situated in the Central Markets, the other is "The Showroom" situated on Gouger St.
They seem to be doing well judging from the amount of people that were trying on shoes - young and old, I might add.
"The Showroom" store is where you will find more fashionable designer styles, while "The Boutique" store

Men. Shoe shopping. It's hard. I know. I have three pairs of shoes (which, for your typical chap is something of an excess). I have formal shoes, exercising shoes and casual shoes. If I wanted to cut down, I could probably use my casual shoes and nothing else.
But women! Three thousand shoes. It's an old joke, sure, but it's one I can't get over. They only wear shoes for other women to see too. At least, they must, because I never look at a lady's shoes.
Anyway, the first thing you'll notice when you enter this store is the layout. There are plenty of places to sit
