Chiropractic is over 125 years old with the first chiropractic adjustment recorded in 1895. Chiropractors are primary contact practitioners registered by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Chiropractors spend 5 years at university studying the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders.

Chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the nervous system and the spine and how they affect our health. Chiropractors work at correcting joint misalignment which improves movement and function of the musculoskeletal and nervous system. Our chiropractors use a range of techniques including manual adjustments, low force techniques such as activator and drop piece, cox traction, soft tissue and rehabilitation exercises.
Services
With over 30 years experience, Bernard (known to many as Bernie) has seen the positive impact chiropractic has had on his patients over time, particularly treating multiple generational families. Before chiropractic, Bernard completed degrees in Education and Science. His cheerful nature puts a smile on everyone that walks through the door.
Most people first see chiropractors for neck pain, headaches, migraines, jaw pain, disc issues, upper and lower back pain, scoliosis and issues with posture. Our chiropractors are also able to offer advice and management for conditions with the shoulder, arms, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, legs, knees, ankle and feet.
When you first meet your chiropractor, they will take a detailed history of your presenting condition and cover other relevant medical history. They will then perform a physical exam on you which may include postural assessments, palpation, range of motion, and orthopaedic, muscle and neurological tests.
